Both have similar narrow and long noses, somewhat unusual, but elegant. Also blue eyes, highly unlikely. Amazing the artists could discern bone structure from the shroud. Both faces are compelling.

Only those who watched the 2+ hour original episode aired in 2010 realize the painstaking work that Ray Downing undertook and incorporated in order to produce as accurate a depiction of the face and actual body of Christ based on the actual shroud.

The Jewish race is not as monolitic as most think.
Esau had red hair, as do many Jews today. Blue eyed, light skinned, and fair hair are all characteristics found among some Jews (and Semetic peoples), dating back in time and through today.
It really doesn't matter to me if Christ's eyes were hazel, blue, or brown. The facial structure, however, is painstakingly based on the shroud and years of Downing's research. He depicted Jesus with brown eyes in the 2010 episode (if I recall correctly).
I am amazed that I am looking at such an accurate depiction of our Lord.
