He sends his command to the earth; his word runs swiftly. He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes. He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can withstand his icy blast? He sends his word and melts them; he stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow. (Psalm 147:15-18)

Heavenly Father, we ask You, in Jesus' Name, to hear us as we pray.

Lord, we pray for our military men and women who struggle with the return to America or the return to civilian life. Please guide and encourage them through the transition, and help them to find a new path.

O God, You send Your command to the earth, and Your word runs swiftly. You spread out the snow like wool and scatter the frost like ashes. You hurl down Your hail like pebbles. Who can withstand Your icy blast? You send Your word and melt the ice and snow; You stir up Your breezes, and the waters flow. All the earth is Yours, O God; Your eyes are always on it and Your hand is always over it, to rule and to sustain, to judge and to bless. We praise You, a God nearby and a God far away, the Lord of the little things and the big, through the Name of Jesus Christ our Savior, Amen.
