While I don’t disagree with any specific statements made here, I have a problem with men putting words in Jesus’ mouth. I prefer to rely on Jesus’ own words in the New Testament as sufficient.
This appears to be restatements of New Testament truths. So these are reproductions of what the Lord has already said and won’t ever take back. The only way it would be wrong is if we have somehow misconstrued the Lord. And even then, a gracious Lord will correct us rather than condemn us.

I am a Charismatic who has been attending Charismatic prayer groups for some 6 years,both Catholic and Protestant prayer groups, with a few questions for you:
1)Does the Lord speak to you?
2) What is your mission?
3) Has the Lord told you to post these messages of yours on the internet?
Very basic questions, but have so far gone unanswered in mail and in these threads. Actually, this no response pattern is quite unbelievable in my experience.
If the Lord says it to all in the bible, then the Lord says it to all now, assuming we don’t have something misleading because it’s being quoted out of context. I think we can get so uptight over this kind of expression that we just miss the point.
Frankly, in my experience, these are not from God.
The importance is in the test, however, not in the pattern. The test (I am assuming that you mean this) proved them bogus. It could only speak to the circles in which you had a particular experience.
By the way, getting demonic attacks doesn’t prove something bogus. Just to footnote this.
The ultimate test, I posit, would be the test of love. Does it move the hearer to love the Lord more in a way that entirely agrees with scripture. Or does it move the hearer to mince with pride in what he or she knows, or seems to know. That can suss out a feature of the message that is unscriptural, but again the bible would be the ultimate test. Does it agree, or is it contrary.
I wish to be utterly objective about this, in the light of scripture. Scripture says don’t treat prophecies with contempt, meaning of course to keep an open mind until they are tested. Some may have to fit in the category of both unrefuted and unproven, and may only provide us with a parable.
This doesnt sound like God(I’m experienced). Further God doesnt have communication problems picking out of context words, innapropriate word choices and the like. How do I know?....I know! Hes very good at communicating.
Maybe you aren’t too good at listening. He does not speak through eloquence always. Just to catch the people who are expecting the fine language.
And you still haven’t spelled out how you determined it was false.
If you look at the original Greek of 1 Peter, it is pretty crude. Our modern KJV hides a lot of things from us.

I wouldn’t take any of this as elevated over Scripture. But it can be a good illustration of scriptural truth. I posit that we need to distinguish “wrong” from “we don’t like.”
