Please pray for a young man that I do not know personally, who is a neighbor of one of my sisters.
Yesterday afternoon, he came home and found his wife dead. She had been ill for a few days, but they do not yet know the exact cause of death.
This man is only in his thirties and now must raise on his own three little boys -- 5 years, 2 years, and 1 month.
I know that his name is Aaron, but I do not know the name of his wife.

May the soul of Aaron’s wife, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
I know the feeling. My wife died at 29. Being a single parent with only one daughter in the 90s/200s was bad. I really feel for this guy today. Rough hand all the way around.
Prayers for him and his family. I can’t imagine how painful this must be and I hope he has good support from his loved ones.

Lord Jesus Christ, be with Thy servant Aaron who is in grief, and rest the soul of his wife with the saints.

Wow, this is such terrible news for such a young man.
It is going to be a very difficult time.
One thought may offer him some encouragement: God is preparing him for something great. Like training for a marathon, the practice is hard, but the reward great.
Heavenly Father, please bless this man and his children. May St. Joseph stand by him, strengthening him with prayers to God. Amen.

Creator of all the universe and Knower of every hair on our heads,
We come before Your throne of grace on behalf of Aaron, a bereaved young father.
Sustain Aaron, precious Lord, in all the difficult days ahead, as he struggles to find his feet after the loss of his wife and the mother of his children.
Provide a church to surround the family and provide for their needs in the months ahead.
May every resource open to Aaron to supply his needs and those of his children, spiritually, materially and healthfully.
Bring Christian mothering through Your servants to sustain the boys, especially the baby, and may a Godly helpmate be provided to Aaron after a suitable time.
Bring Christian fathering to Aaron — men on whom he can lean and from whom he can learn and be inspired, and from whom his children can receive interested care and role modeling in safety.
Above all, may Aaron be completely surrendered to Your profound gift of Salvation. May he be deeply reassured of the freedoms offered by grace and repentance, keeping his body a temple of health for the indwelling of the Spirit and fitness for the care of his little ones.
