Prayers for John and all who love him.
Prayers for you and your family to be comforted as you keep watch over your dad. Lord hear our prayers.

prayers up, Eagles6. God bless your father and you. Update when you can.
Prayers up for your dad, Eagle6
Thanks for the ping, Salvation.
Prayers for your dad being said now. And for your family.
Prayers.
Yesterday afternoon when I went in things did not look promising.
Delerious from fever, pain meds or both. Worry about a perforated colon, peritonitis.
A permanent colostomy was a distinct option.
180 degree turn around!
He and I had a rough night last night but he appears to be on the mend.
He is responding to the antibiotics, his fever is down, white count where it should be.
Intead of yesterday's talk of funeral arrangements it's talk of the debate.
He's very excited to see his guy, Ted Cruz, kick butt and take names!
Thank you all for your prayers and I keep you all in my prayers too.
Cruz to Victory!
Great news! Prayers up!
Thanks for the update.
Still have him on antibiotic IV and hoping to avoid surgery
His A Fib is causing some issues but the cardio says it's safe enough for the moment.
He is stll very weak and it's difficult to see him so frail and helpless.
Allowed solid food as of today though he does not have much appetite.
He seems to be heading in the right direction but we have a ways to go yet.
Again, thank you for your prayers.
Prayers up.
Forgot to mention that Mom and Dad have been working on behalf of the prolife movement for over 40 yrs.
Up until a few years ago they would put prolife voting guides on vehicles in Catholic ( our faith) Church parking lots during Mass and then go back and pick up any that were thrown on the ground.
Dang! Hadn't realized it's been 10 days since an update. It's been a blur.
Transferred Dad to Rehab on Sun. Nurses there were polar opposites of the angels in ICU. Seems like they couldn't care less.
Dad didn't remember the first week and a half but needed sleep which he wasn't getting with his room mates.
They were going to release him today but 06:00 yesterday he begged me to get him home.
The doctor said no.
I took the doctor to the window and pointed down.
I said " Do you see that helipad down there?"
He said "Yes".
I said "My Brother In Law is a pilot that knows Army pilots. He will land a helicopter there, I will smuggle Dad down in a laundry cart and we will be on TV".
They let him go!
Actually I think Dana, the occupational therapist made it happen.
Thank you Dana!
Long road to go yet but he's improving every day..
Thanks to everyone for your prayers!
Yeah they work!
