Pop singer Miley Cyrus recently slammed Christian conservatives for believing in "fairy tales" like the story of Noah's ark and argued that those who hold to a traditional definition of marriage should not be permitted to make laws within the United States. In a recent interview with Paper magazine, Cyrus, who appears nude within the publication, refers to herself as the "least judgemental person ever." However, the magazine notes that while she was raised in a Christian home and was baptized in a Southern Baptist church, the "Wrecking Ball" singer "maintains a particular contempt for fundamentalist lawmakers who rally against this sort of progressive, potentially life-saving changes [for the LGBT] community." Well, that's what we can pray for, then.
It takes me back to the naivete and pitifulness of my own younger days. And how did I get re-rooted in reality before I dried up and died?

Suicide? It could happen, but O Dear God, no. I hope she falls down far enough that she KNOWS she has to grasp God’s right hand. Then she can right herself again on His strength, and be a conqueror. Then she and the angelic host can slay some of the evils of this world.
God has had His eye on her since she was an embryo, and God knows all the good gifts He put into her, and the glorious freedom she would have if she would turn to Him and live.
She could do that.
She's young, yet.
I hold to the perseverance of the saints, so I don’t believe a believer can lose his salvation, but you need to talk to someone else about “once saved always saved.” I reject the way some use the phrase. Perseverance of the Saints is the idea that all who are chosen by God, redeemed by Christ, and given faith by the Spirit are eternally saved. They are kept in faith by the power of Almighty God and thus persevere to the end. And the Word is clear, we can most certainly have assurance of salvation in this life.
It is key to understand that a believer perseveres only because the Lord sustains them, they don’t persevere on their own strength. In other words, people are ultimately saved not because of their own efforts at perseverance, but they persevere because of God’s grace.
Miley may, on her own strength, made a profession of faith and been baptized (I don’t know if either is true), but we are not saved by the free will decisions of men. Anyone who led her to believe her actions saved her woefully misled her. We don’t check some boxes, perform religious duties (baptism) and achieve salvation. Contrary to what so many believe, we cannot will ourselves into the kingdom. “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy” (Romans 9:16) “Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” (John 1:13)
We are saved by His sovereign and free grace, not doctrine, religious duties, or decision. The Bible is very clear on this. Salvation is not of ourselves. It is a gift from above. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
There is so much to say on all of this. I wish I had time to say more and to say what I am trying to say with more clarity, but I’m way behind in the office and have to leave.
If a person denounces their faith, as Miley has, she is not saved. By Faith through Grace, we are saved. If we don’t have that Faith, we are not covered by that Grace.
I hope she repents.
I certainly hope Miley turn to Him.
For the time being, she’s turned, unfortunately, to the dark side.
Little girls used to adore her when she played Hannah Montana. Miley wanted to change that image of herself, and she certainly has succeeded.
And, yet, she judges Christians for what she calls believing in fairy tales. Hypocrite!
I need to rephrase. I shouldn’t have called her stupid. I think she is ignorant, raised by parents who do no better.
I am guessing that in the next elections the republicans will be even stronger.
Now look at her, covered in Tattoo's, she has succumbed to the Dark Side of Hollywood and Life, being advised by the lowest of the low, now alienated from her parents and doing everything she can to destroy herself. She thinks she is some sort of liberated woman but she has descended into the Abyss and the question is will she be able to pull herself out or end up another Janet Joplin or Amy Winehouse??????
Someone could show her the miraculous fulfillments of prophecies and she would still fabricate a lie to excuse believing God is. he daddy is going to be held very much at fault for this doomed child’s eternity.
