Miley Cyrus Mocks Christians Who Believe in Old Testament 'Fairy Tales'
Gospel Herald ^ | 6/10/2015 | Leah M. Klett

Pop singer Miley Cyrus recently slammed Christian conservatives for believing in "fairy tales" like the story of Noah's ark and argued that those who hold to a traditional definition of marriage should not be permitted to make laws within the United States. In a recent interview with Paper magazine, Cyrus, who appears nude within the publication, refers to herself as the "least judgemental person ever." However, the magazine notes that while she was raised in a Christian home and was baptized in a Southern Baptist church, the "Wrecking Ball" singer "maintains a particular contempt for fundamentalist lawmakers who rally against this sort of progressive, potentially life-saving changes [for the LGBT] community." "Those people [shouldn't] get to make our laws," Cyrus said of Christians who hold to a traditional view of marriage. - See more at: http://www.gospelherald.com/articles/55983/20150610/miley-cyrus-mocks-christians-who-believe-in-old-testament-fairy-tales-says-those-who-oppose-homosexuality-shouldnt-get-to-make-laws.htm#sthash.Rkum5Y2u.dpuf

There is a hideous version of her video for ‘wrecking ball’ that is described as demonic. Photo negative and in G-major. Well, yes. Good description.

This confirms my faith in Scripture. If Satan’s temple prostitute is opposed to it, it must be all be true!

The Bible has a descriptive term for a person who says in his heart there is no God. (Ps. 14:1). Those who embrace the theology of anti-Christianity follow a foolish path indeed.

Miley Cyrus has gone from looking insecure and immature to looking mentally unstable. Sadly, I don’t think there’s any therapy that can save her. She is so odd and wrong in all she says that being insulted by her becomes a complement. When I see her, I just feel sad that someone could be so twisted by our decadent society that they now think wrong is right and right is wrong. She is obviously unhappy and will probably have a sad and short life. All she has is my pity.

Here ya go:

Genesis 4:7 King James Version (KJV)

7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Therapy, no.

But look at the radical change the apostle Paul went through was converted. He started as a zealot who wanted to arrest as many Christians (then known as Nazarenes) that he could.

It seems like a lot of people pass through a "sins of youth" period in which they chomp down, and get dragged around this way and that way, by every baited hook.

This they think is freedom.

Then, hopefully, something will happen, somebody will say something, and she'll get a glimpse of how sad and disappointing, pointless and stupid it all is. Hopefully, shell realize she has to get straight on the One Thing Necessary, or be torn to pieces by the multiplicity of her desires.

This is a critical time for us to pray for her.

Actually, she’ll probably end up as the fourth wife of some Muslim. Having burnt out every fiber of her being on self-indulgence, she will crave structure, but having lost the capacity for self-regulation she will gladly have it imposed on her by someone else who can make the insanity stop. Those who frolic with Dionysus in the morning crave Apollo by sundown.

Ah-ha! I generally read the New American Standard.

“If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and it’s desire is for you, but you must master it.”

No Miss Cyrus you are not ‘least judgmental’ you have NO GOOD judgment, only BAD judgment. And apparently no remaining morality that you may have been taught as a child.

Actually these aren’t “folktales,” they are mythologies. The difference being that they are stories based on natural events caused through supernatural effect.

Now before anyone gets their boxers in a wad, this does not mean these stories aren’t literal. Mythology can be completely factual and literal, it’s simply a classification of the event as told in various writings or handed down through oral tradition. But you are completely right when you say there is wisdom to be gained here because it is the truth underlying the story that is the most important thing we are to learn from.

Nice reference to the parable of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32).
