Heavenly Father –

As National Day of Prayer is observed May 7th this year, may we continue our prayers every day for our nation, our leaders, our churches, our communities, our families, ourselves.

Give us, Lord, a heart of repentance and a hunger for Your Word. May we more than just hearers of Your Word, but doers of Your Word through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Bless all those who sacrifice and put themselves in harm’s way – home and abroad – to keep us safe. Protect them from the enemy on all fronts. Give a special grace to all those who suffer and are persecuted for Your Name’s sake.

May we return to the faith of founders so that our nation may glorify Your Name and be a blessing in this world and the world to come.

Dear NEWwoman, what struck me most today is to see our President speak the GOSPEL as a blessing of our nation. Such a missed opportunity runs in our America now. How sad to see our flag decimated, our law enforcement disrespected, our Heroes disregarded, our churches disassembled into political correctness, so to water down the Holiness of God and extinguish the GOODNESS of GRACE and MERCY that HE gives to all sinning mankind. INDEED...LET US PRAY...Many blessing to you for this heartfelt post.
