Pope Francis twists Scripture to promote heresy of false mercy
From Rome ^ | Br. Alexis Bugnolo

In an incredible and shameless act of defiance to Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, Pope Francis preached a blasphemous sermon this morning at Mass. Here is the Italian text, from Radio Vaticana:

From the "analysis": Notice, that there is not 1 word about how the sinner is guilty of a moral offense: in the pope’s mind, the sinner is just 1 who made “mistakes”, and thus has no need to repent, to change his life...

Yet what the Pope said was: "A man, a woman, who feels bad at heart, sad, who has made so many mistakes in life, at a certain moment feels the waters move, it is the Holy Spirit who moves something..."

The Pope is literally describing the required prerequisite of repentance!

Oh, good grief! He has preached about the necessity of repentance before: http://www.catholicculture.org/news/headlines/index.cfm?storyid=17901

Rock star pope strikes again. He enjoys media adulation more than humility.

Is the pope catholic?

That used to be a rhetorical question.

Inevitably this will get me flamed, but this is what putting your faith in man gets you.

You do not need a Pope; you do not need a Priest; you do not need "confession"; and you do not need the Catholic Church.

You need time in direct conversation with Christ and God Almighty to repent for sins and ask for forgiveness. Believe it or not, it's also that simple to ask for salvation, as well, if you're so-inclined.

Figure that out, and you simultaneously realize that everything else is just noise.

Let’s not forget that Francis committed grave sin during his time in Argentina by allowing grave sinners, i.e., abortionists to receive Holy Communion. He also gave Holy Communion to the shacked up at each and every Mass where he was the celebrant.

One of the many foolish articles written despite several homilies by Francis urging repentance before forgiveness. Indeed, while in Buenos Aires, as Cardinal he called homosexual marriage the work of the devil and preached adoption by homosexual as child abuse.

If one is looking for anti-Catholic hits there are some other websites that may provide more HuffPo-type fodder than this one.

CONGREGATION FOR THE DOCTRINE OF THE FAITH

LETTER TO THE BISHOPS OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH
CONCERNING THE RECEPTION OF HOLY COMMUNION
BY THE DIVORCED AND REMARRIED MEMBERS OF THE FAITHFUL

...With respect to the aforementioned new pastoral proposals, this Congregation deems itself obliged therefore to recall the doctrine and discipline of the Church in this matter. In fidelity to the words of Jesus Christ(5), the Church affirms that a new union cannot be recognised as valid if the preceding marriage was valid. If the divorced are remarried civilly, they find themselves in a situation that objectively contravenes God's law. Consequently, they cannot receive Holy Communion as long as this situation persists(6).

This norm is not at all a punishment or a discrimination against the divorced and remarried, but rather expresses an objective situation that of itself renders impossible the reception of Holy Communion: "They are unable to be admitted thereto from the fact that their state and condition of life objectively contradict that union of love between Christ and his Church which is signified and effected by the Eucharist. Besides this, there is another special pastoral reason: if these people were admitted to the Eucharist, the faithful would be led into error and confusion regarding the Church's teaching about the indissolubility of marriage"(7).

The faithful who persist in such a situation may receive Holy Communion only after obtaining sacramental absolution, which may be given only "to those who, repenting of having broken the sign of the Covenant and of fidelity to Christ, are sincerely ready to undertake a way of life that is no longer in contradiction to the indissolubility of marriage. This means, in practice, that when for serious reasons, for example, for the children's upbringing, a man and a woman cannot satisfy the obligation to separate, they 'take on themselves the duty to live in complete continence, that is, by abstinence from the acts proper to married couples'"(8). In such a case they may receive Holy Communion as long as they respect the obligation to avoid giving scandal.

So, what did he mean by his homily then?

Not that sinners get a “free ride” without repentance. The mercy of God is infinite.

If you want to come, come to Mass on Sunday, but remain there, don’t do anything else.”

This is the sentence that leads me to believe he is absolutely referring to divorced and remarried and communion. He is whining about those Catholics who say they can come to Mass, but they must stay in their seats. They must not receive communion.

Your idea of “repentance” is as twisted as Francis’. What good is repentance if one continues to live a life of adultery?

As always, any divorced and remarried Catholic can now go to Confession, receive forgiveness and then choose to either return to his one and only true spouse or live a single life.

Yours and Francis’ argument could very well be used to give Holy Communion to “repentant” child rapists who wish to continue raping children.

Not quite as bad as this........

Pope Francis Appoints Homosexual Pederast Voyeur As Bishop And Ignores Outrage And Demands To Rescind It From Faithful

How does it feel to be a Faithful Catholic in the Diocese of Osorno, Chile where in five days the new bishop will take over? Normally a cause for celebration and well wishes, the appointment of this new bishop, “Father” Juan Barros, by Pope Francis has resulted in 1,300 of the diocesan faithful and thirty priests to petition the pope to rescind the appointment. The problem is that the bishop to be is a homosexual and enjoyed watching his homosexual priest colleague commit pederasty, and then covered it up when complaints were made. Moreover, this isn’t old news from decades ago, but became known within the last five years. Despite the evidence that this bishop is a menace to young men, a pervert, and a scandalous disgrace, Pope Francis has foisted this “man” on the diocese as their leader. Even though the people there have been expressing their disgust and outrage since the appointment was announced in January, Pope Francis has not heeded the calls from them to correct this affront. Based upon his micromanagement of the hurt feelings of adulterers and transsexuals over the past year, it is difficult to believe that Pope Francis isn’t aware of the situation. Perhaps, telephone connections are not so good between Rome and Osorno?

What a can of worms that is. Bottom line, only God knows their hearts and minds and that includes the Pope.
