Your idea of “repentance” is as twisted as Francis’. What good is repentance if one continues to live a life of adultery?

As always, any divorced and remarried Catholic can now go to Confession, receive forgiveness and then choose to either return to his one and only true spouse or live a single life.

Yours and Francis’ argument could very well be used to give Holy Communion to “repentant” child rapists who wish to continue raping children.

Which sins have you eradicated from your life? I would wager that the sinful nature is more alive than you would care to admit. If one can stop all sinful activity after becoming "a soldier of Christ", why would the Catholic Church have come up with Confession? Did Jesus die so we could become less sinful by nature or so that we could have the consequences of our sinful natures pushed aside that we may enter through the gates of Heaven?
