I had been doing that for years. It was a GREAT source of gifts. Win-win for everyone.
Monks of New Skete? I have one of their dog training books....but the dog trained Me instead!
Thanks for posting. I know the Nuns with the Soap have their liquid soap, and bar soap 20% off until midnite CST on Friday. Just use the code nunbetter on your order.
It’s organic, and really great soap with natural essential oils.

When I go to their website, it seems fine; but when I click on “music”, I get the “untrusted website” message.
I don’t know why that is; but you can hear snips of their music on Amazon.

I’m not getting the “untrusted website” message; no idea why you are.
I’m planning on ordering a few CDs from them this weekend; we’ll see how it goes.
I had a shepherd whose mom was a New Skete dog...
A few years ago, after he died, I made a pilgrimage to New Skete, and the monks invited me to dine with them.
Holy Family Retreat House Passionist Center, West Hartford, CT. Its give and bookstore:
http://www.holyfamilyretreat.org/bookstore
They also sell coffee.
A friend of mine loves Mystic Monk coffee. He was hinting at sending me some for Christmas this year:-)
Correction, its both gifts and a bookstore, plus it sells its own coffee.
Wow! I’d love to visit those monks and see those dogs too.
