Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ
Please pray for one of my Brother Knights, his wife and his 20 year old son Drew whom, while away at college, has contracted a thus far unidentified illness. My friend and his wife have been at Drews bedside for over a week and from what I understand the prognosis is quite dire.
Praise God that Drew is on the upswing. You are a good friend to Drew’s family. God bless you for that.
Keep us in the loop. Looking at the board here, looks like Drew is getting continual prayers.
God Bless!
Thank you for the update. I will continue to pray for Drew and his family. About a year and a half ago, my nephew suddenly became very sick, having trouble breathing. He was rushed to the hospital, put on oxygen, and placed in ICU. It took them about a week before they were able to diagnose the type of virus he had. Once they did a culture on the mucus from his lungs, they knew what they were fighting. Can’t remember the strain they discovered, but once he was started on Tamiflu, he recovered quickly and compeltely.
Thank you for the update. I will continue praying for him.
May He put a hedge of protection around Drew and be the Great Healer and may He offer you all the knowledge that whatever comes, it is in His Plan.
While we may not understand His Plan, we can always trust His Heart.

From Drew’s Wife Peggy
Good morning! And I say that with a smile on my face and joy in my heart. Drew is making a remarkable recovery. Nothing short of a miracle. The amazing power of prayer and Gods divine mercy.
This morning many of the doctors that saw Drew during his first week at UW Hospital stopped in to see him. His recovery has amazed them. Nurses continue to stop in and also astounded. Drew shows improvement not just day by day, but hour by hour. As I sit here writing to you he is arguing with the TV and the stupidity of the questions on Who wants to be a Millionaire. Our Drew is back!
The next leg of Drew’s recovery will take place at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago hopefully in the next day or two. Drew is so anxious to get there! Drew’s rehab will focus on his fine motor, speech and cognitive skills. He has the energy, strength and determination to work hard and get out of there as quickly as possible. He is anxious to get back to school!
Clyde, Grant, Reid and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the prayers, thoughts, visits, calls, texts, and “care packages” of goodies and essentials :). Drew thanks you - he thinks it’s pretty “insane” how many people are praying for him. He is overwhelmed with the outpouring of love.
Please continue to pray for Drew’s complete recovery. Thank you and God bless, Peggy
Great News!
The prayers continue...
