A bunch of naked people sharing the showers in St. Petersburg Square. Gays love this Pope!
Will they be rainbow colored?
That will definately become a destination in the community
Finally! A place for the masses of welfare-receiving eight-child families of Rome’s exploding Muslim population to catch some rays, take that weekly bath with hot water at Vatican expense (you’ll only understand if you’ve lived in Europe,) leave some wrappers and dirty diapers on the colonnade and grill some Halal kebabs on a Friday afternoon!
pResident obola will be making a state visit to inspect these bath houses.
pulease stop helping these people....give them work...they don’t need a bath as much as them need self esteem....except those who are beyond help from so much help.
and after showering they will put their dirty clothes back on.
I hope Harry Reid doesn’t get any ideas and build some showers for the stinky tourists that frequent his office hall passageway.
He already washes feet,, so what’s a few showers?
As long as they’re coed, of course.
What could go wrong?
Seems like a lot of work for one guy. Maybe Sidney Poitier can help him?
Already got that, it’s called rain.
What I don't understand is the man quoted in the article as being upset that the priests don't find him work.
I ask the following from ignorance... not being Catholic... and knowing little of Catholic practices in Europe... would a person looking for work have a reason to believe that a passing priest is the man who could/should make that happen?
Don’t drop the soap.
Are they going to supply shampoo and soap, too? What’s next, laundry service? Chow/soup lines? Who’s going to keep the showers clean so disease isn’t spread? Will there be hot water? What about in the winter? See, it’s way more than just installing three shower stalls in a public restroom.
The Church’s obama.
Good for the Pope; trying hard to do what Jesus commands us to do, helping the poor. He has my admiration.
What could possibly go wrong?
The way this article is written one would think they are setting up showers in the middle of the fountains in St Peter’s square, when these would be at a space set aside for pilgrims and tourists for their restroom.
People don’t get that Europe is a very walk-able continent. Unlike the USA, cities are very old, and public transportation is cheep and everywhere for any person to use. Additionally, Rome does not get that cold like in most of North America. I have literally slept outside an airport in the middle of winter. Its not comfortable, but since a homeless person can survive on the streets of Rome without shelter it stands to reason that there are many (and there are) homeless in Rome.
