....”FR wouldn’t be able to handle the bandwidth of the number of stories of people who left Catholicism for Christ”....

Not to mention the number of those who once were considering until they saw the truth about it’s teachings and beliefs etc.

I noted catholics always are saying one has to read the catachism, to understand what being Catholic is....but so many times I’ve heard catholics say the classes are simply what they have to go through to be a member of their organization. Even if they don’t understand it’s statements.

>>In Acts 2 we are told the Lord added to the Church. Not fellow man.<<

1 Corinthians 3:3 for yet ye are fleshly, for where there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not fleshly, and in the manner of men do walk? 4 for when one may say, 'I, indeed, am of Paul;' and another, 'I -- of Apollos;' are ye not fleshly? 5 Who, then, is Paul, and who Apollos, but ministrants through whom ye did believe, and to each as the Lord gave? 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God was giving growth; 7 so that neither is he who is planting anything, nor he who is watering, but He who is giving growth -- God;

Once again Catholics would take that glory to themselves.

>>that’s the definite vibe i get form “The Journey Home”<<

That's how cults work. They don't follow Christ alone, they follow the "church".

>>So it's easy being a Catholic theologian. You can believe anything.<<

One only needs look at the so called Catholic Universities to understand that.

Wait, wait, wait. Haven't we heard that there is no division in the Catholic Church?

“Instead, some have to scour the web looking for Catholic PR articles for “converts.”

They do seem to enjoy putting notches on their Rosary Beads, don’t they?

I could sponsor a thread on the former RC that God brought to the Reformed faith through my feeble efforts, but that would give me the spot light, not the work of the Holy Spirit.

Interesting what they base their faith on.

NOT Scripture.

Wait, wait, wait. Haven't we heard that there is no division in the Catholic Church?

Once a Catholic always a Catholic.

Once a priest, always a priest.

Baptism leaves an indelible mark on the soul.

Laity's opinion about who is a *real* Catholic is meaningless in light of the church's opinion.

Since the RCC considers them Catholic, Catholic they are.

OK. Knew that one was coming. Try emailing Scott Hahn, Marcus Grodi, Tim Staples, Jimmy Aiken, and the vast majority of other Catholic apologists and tell them they were not Christian. Make sure you let us know what they say in their replies. LOL.

Already read Hahn's stuff...He never had a relationship with Jesus til he saw him sitting in a monstrance in one of your churches...

I read Staples stuff...He never encountered Jesus until he ate a Catholic cracker...He always knew something was missing...And that was Jesus...

Without Jesus, you ain't no Christian no matter how pious you look...

Since the RCC considers them Catholic, Catholic they are.

If you were baptized with the Trinitarian formula, you would be considered Catholic, but not fully united with the Body of Christ, His Church.

The point is, "an indelible mark on the soul" does not mean the same thing as full union with His Church.

Since the Catholic church "considers" and claims as Catholic anyone who was baptized in a Trinitarian denomination, does that leave Trinitarian Protestant susceptible and liable to future inquisitions?
