Hell to Pay for So-Called ‘Christian Swingers’
The Christian Diarist ^ | October 5, 2014 | JP

Posted on 10/05/2014 7:59:37 AM PDT by CHRISTIAN DIARIST

It never ceases to outrage when those who abide unabashedly and unrepentantly in sin claim to be Christians.

Like the two churchgoing San Diego couples whom we previously wrote about – Will and Shirley and Nate and Faith – whose idea of a small group was a casino gambling ring. They were featured in the documentary film “Holy Rollers: The True Story of Card Counting Christians.”

More recently there was Alexis McGill Johnson, who this past spring became the chairwoman of Planned Parenthood, the nation’s foremost abortionist. Johnson publicly professes herself a Christian but thinks there nothing wrong with killing pre-born babies.

Then there’s the latest example, as recently reported by Barcroft TV (which, we understand, is a top 10 news channel on YouTube): “Bible-thumping,” body-building Florida couple Dean and Christy Parave who supposedly “preach the word of God through swinging.”

“At first I was conflicted,” said Christy, “but the more we looked at it, the more it makes sense to us. I don’t think God would be mad at what we’re doing.”

Indeed, she reasoned, “God put people on the Earth to breed and enjoy each other.” And that’s why she thinks it perfectly acceptable in the eyes of God that she and her husband are swinging with other couples.

And Dean and Christy actually have taken there putative “ministry” to the Internet with a web site that encourages couples, according to Barcroft, to “join in and indulge in their holy promiscuity.”

Well Dean and Christy Parave may delude themselves that they are swinging for Christ – just as Alexis McGill Johnson suggests that God is neutral on abortion, and Will and Shirley and Nate and Faith think card counting is okay by Jesus so long as they use the proceeds for church planting – but what they all are doing is wicked.

Now we are all, everyone, sinners, who fall short of the glory of God. In that we are no different from the swinging Parave couple, the abortionist Johnson and the two gambling couples.

But here’s where authentic Christ followers differ from faux Christians like the Paraves, like Johnson, like Will and Shirley and Nate and Faith: We confess our sins, and the Lord our God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness.

In contrast, the Florida swingers, the Planned Parenthood abortionist and the San Diego gambling ring think they need no forgiveness because what they are doing is no sin.

But the word of God declares, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

Those unabashed, unrepentant sinners have hell to pay.

It's one thing to sin. It's quite another thing to insist a sin is not a sin. The former can be forgiven if we confess and repent. The latter cannot.

Religious or not, I’ve always found such activity to be sick. Incorporating the religion component to it adds another layer of creepiness to it.

I don’t CARE what the people involved say about it, there’s NO WAY someone can truly love their significant other if they are willing to share them with someone else. I’d also wonder whether my wife really loved me if she’d be willing to let me go and bed down with another woman, while she’s willing to go with another guy. The whole thing is just twisted and WRONG.

I don’t know. Being in my 30s, maybe I’m just old fashioned.

Even Hitler claimed to be Christian. Sadly, we now live in a world where if I find someone who leads with “I am a Christian”, I put my hand on my wallet and wait for the proof. Decades ago, that would help me relax a bit. Now, my alarms go off.

They’re not Christians.

But, they are liars.

Actually, Hitler was a New Ager pagan and said he’d take care of the Christians after he was finished with the Jews.

Leftist history revisionists reach back into his childhood to name him a Catholic.

Goebbels, Nazi Minister of Propaganda, noted:

“The Fuhrer is deeply religous, though completely anti-Christian. He views Christianity as a symptom of decay. Rightly so. It is a branch of the Jewish race... Both [Judaism and Christianity] have no point of contact to the animal element, and thus, in the end, they will be destroyed.”
...
“The National Reich Church of Germany categorically claims the exclusive right and the exclusive power to control all churches within the borders of the Reich: it declares these to be national churches of the German Reich.

“The National Church is determined to exterminate irrevocably...the strange and foreign Christian faiths imported into Germany in the ill-omened year 800...

“The National Church has no scribes, pastors, chaplains or priests, but National Reich orators are to speak in them.

“The National Church demands immediate cessation of the publishing and dissemination of the Bible in Germany...’”

“On the altars there must be nothing but ‘Mein Kampf’ (to the German nation and therefore to God the most sacred book) and to the left of the altar a sword.

“On the day of its foundation, the Christian Cross must be removed from all churches, cathedrals and chapels...and it must be superseded by the only unconquerable symbol, the swastika.”

(The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, by William L. Shirer, p. 240 in some editions, p. 332 in others. Chapter headed “Triumph and Consolidation”, subsection “The Persecution of the Christian Churches”)

” I don’t think God would be mad at what we’re doing.”

People use that line of reasoning for all types of sin, never once bothering to look at what God actually says about it in His word. Christians do it all the time, “I prayed and I have a peace about it, so I know that God wants me to (fill in the blank)” despite the fact that His word says the complete opposite.

This is the logical result of Protestantism. Since Protestantism always devolves to feelings and subjectivity, there is essentially no moral absolute, no right or wrong. Thus, anything can be “Christianity”.

And that’s why my sisters Catholic church taught her that being Gay was OK.

People assume that if they aren’t Jewish, Muslim, Mormon, Catholic, Hindu, Buddhist or atheist, then by default, they must be Christian.
