Radical Islamists seem intent on conquest. It has always been so. From the beginning and down through the ages, radical jihadists have attempted to convert people to their religion by force. Convert they cry or we have nothing to offer you but the sword.

First, conquest... and not of the “negotiated solution,” but a complete, convincing and total beatdown... then conversion.

Yo!
Mohammmmmmidd!
We got swords, too (and a LOT better stuff, to boot.)
It’s about damn time we started using them.
People have been seeing the barbarism and brutality of Islam since the day the cult began, and it hasn’t done anything to create the critical mass to reject it, as Fr Longenecker believes will happen.
People see the barbarism and they’re scared of it but because there seems to be no effective defender against it they just accept it out of terror. And then their descendants, who have never known anything but Islam, swell its ranks for generations.
Like it or not, the secular powers have the duty to defend their people against Islam. It attacks them like a secular power itself (by secular, I mean a state) and should not be treated like a religion but like a hostile state. And in fact it is, since Islam is a theocracy and therefore the state and religion are indistinguishable, as we are seeing with the ISIS proclamation of the “Islamic State” or Caliphate. It is a state run by religious law, but it is still a state and attacks against it should be on that basis.
When a state is peaceful, the other states can ignore or tolerate it even if they don’t agree with its system; but when a state is warlike and expansionist, the other states have no choice but to fight back and to attack it into submission.
Conversion, whether of the heart of the individual or the structure of a system, works only when the state has been completely subjugated - such as in the case of Germany, which was forced to give up its loathsome ideology, but only after it had been defeated militarily.
Unless expansionist Islam is treated as an enemy state, that is, as a political enemy that can be the target of military action, there will never even be any chance or space for the true conversion all Muslims need.
And while the best option would be a conversion to the truth, that is, Christianity, the fundamental thing they need is a conversion AWAY from Islam. I don’t see them becoming Buddhists any time soon, but certainly, anything would be better than the Satanic religion/state that now holds them in thrall.
Jesus said “My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.”
The soldiers of Christ fight a spiritual battle, not a physical battle.
Romans 13 teaches us that civil governments are put in place to keep order, and that their role is to reward those who are good.
Romans 13:1-4 Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves.
For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same;
for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.

AMEN!!!!!!
I have been saying this for years. Islam should be outlawed in the US. It is a GOVERNMENT that is infiltrating the US.
The answer is: kill the b@stards!
Unfortunately a moslem’s conversion cannot be trusted as they are commanded to lie if they can gain advantage from it.
So it’s not conquets and conversion that will work. Only conquest and extermination will end this war. (They are commanded to fight until there are no more moslems or no more non-moslems)
I am waiting for one or more of these musloid ISIS freaks to be captured, then proudly say they are carrying on the tradition of Muhammed, at the birth of this cult, and how he spread it through war, rape and pillage.
This is the question based on theology that should be asked

islam = satan’s death cult
satan cannot be converted
satan MUST be destroyed. COMPLETELY.
If one denies Christ publicly in order to pretend conversion to Islam, they have denied Christ.
I agree, but here’s the problem as I see it.
In order to accomplish the complete beatdown of Islam, we’d need to do ONE thing before anything else: nuke Mecca. The muslims believe that Mecca is inviolate and can never be destroyed. They believe it is under special and supernatural protection by Allah and that no attack laid against it can ever succeed. If this idea can be spectacularly and completely crushed by turning it into so much rdioactive glass, this will go a LONG way towards the eradication of Islam.
Now...two problems with this. One- the American people would NEVER elect a leader who mention this as one of the goals of their administration. Too many in this country have been ‘wimpified’ to allow themselves to see this as even a remotely possible solution. Therefore, the US leader who would do this has 2 options- 1) do it as a surprise, without having let the American people know ahead of time what they were going to do, or 2) eliminate that part of the population (or maybe just their votes) who would object.
The second problem is international. The indication on radar of a flight of nuclear missiles inbound to Mecca might have the tendency for other countries to assume that they’re next. That means the President who orders such a strike would necessarily have to inform other leaders that this was going to happen. If those leaders would happen to object to this, they might threaten a counter-strike against us, provided they were equipped to do so (Russia?). The resulting global thermonuclear war would certain put a crimp in the “Victory over Islam” parties that might spring up.
We could say “if you object to this, we’ll bomb you into oblivion as well” and take the role of ‘bully to the world’...but what would that accomplish?
As you can see, it’s a VERY complicated situation.
AMERICANS BEWARE!!!
Those who maintain that understanding jihad as a holy war constitutes a sort of deviation from the true Islamic tradition are therefore not telling the truth, and history sadly demonstrates that violence has characterized Islam since its origin, and that Mohammed himself systematically.
But the biggest difference between Christianity and Islam concerns the crucial issue of understanding the human person. This is shown by the fact that many Islamic countries have not accepted the declaration of human rights promulgated by the United Nations in 1948, or have done so with the reservation of excluding the norms that conflict with Quranic law which means practically all of them.
In Islamic tradition, in fact, the concept of the equality of all human beings does not exist, nor does, in consequence, the concept of the dignity of every human life. Sharia is founded upon a threefold inequality: between man and woman, between Muslim and non-Muslim, and between freeman and slave.

No. There really is a God in Heaven, and He really does save Muslims. In fact, in recent years there has been explosive growth of Christian communities in several Muslim countries. These are our brothers and sisters in Christ, and it would be a monstrous evil to destroy all of them simply because a few of them are probably faking it.
But I am not concerned that such a thing will happen. Those who are unrepentantly evil we must fight, and they will face God one day too for their crimes. But God also has a plan for the many souls in Muslim countries for whom He has died. He is coming to them in dreams and visions and Bibles and missionaries, and He is finding His sheep.
One of my favorite stories. I heard this years ago on Moody radio. A Baptist missionary was telling his story (first person, not second-hand), which began with how his ministry in Mogadishu was going nowhere. But one day an Imam he had befriended invited him to speak at the local mosque (this was before the "Blackhawk Down" events), and so he did. At the end of the talk a man brought his daughter up to the missionary and asked if Jesus could do anything for her. Apparently her legs were withered and useless. The missionary gave the standard non-charismatic Baptist answer: Of course Jesus could help her but we don't know if he will. The girl's father said he understood and thank you and began to walk away. But the little girl started looking stedfastly at the missionary, and started insisting repeatedly that her father put her down. And when he put her down, she walked. Imagine an entire mosque of Shiite Muslim praising the name of "Isa," Jesus.
From that time forward there began a series of intense conversations between the missionary and the men of that mosque, especially the imam. One day the imam met the missionary in town and the missionary asked if the imam would like a Bible. The imam said that was forbidden, though he would like to know the sayings of Jesus. So the missionary took a New Testament, removed it's cover, and put a new, homemade cover on it that said, "The Sayings of Jesus." The imam received this gratefully, and apparently read it, because one day not too long after he came back to the missionary and said he was ready to become a Christian. Apparently he made his profession of faith in the middle of a busy street, because he wanted to make his profession as public as possible.
Afterwards, he told the missionary his only regret was that he wished he could share his new faith in Jesus with his family in Iran. Then a few weeks later he suddenly turned up missing. A group of men came to the missionary and told him he would no longer be able to talk with the imam. They had sent him where he would be safe from Christian teaching. They sent him back to his family in Iran.
Rom 11:33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
So no, mass extermination does not appear to be what God has in mind for these people. Not yet, not while He is still calling a people to Himself. Our best strategy is to cooperate with, not fight, the clear intention of God to proclaim His Gospel unto the ends of the earth until He returns.
And nothing wrong with a wise and vigorous self-defense against the incorrigible ones while we wait for that happy day.
Peace,
SR
What you say is true.
But there will be a mass extermination of the moslems. Either before or after Jesus returns.
I’d prefer for them to all be saved, but again, their word cannot be trusted. I do leave room for the Holy spirit to vouch for those who are converted, but governments seldom listen to the Spirit. If things continue as they are going, and if teh Lord does not return to bail us out of this mess, we will eventually be forced to eradicate the disease.
