Condemnation came fast and furious following the Supreme Court ruling on Monday that said the Affordable Care Acts contraceptive and sterilization mandate is unlawful because it infringes on the religious liberty of the business owners who object to providing abortion-inducing drugs to employees.
"Today's decision from five male justices is a direct attack on women and our fundamental rights, Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, said in a statement issued after the 5/4 decision on Monday. This ruling goes out of its way to declare that discrimination against women isn't discrimination.
"Allowing bosses this much control over the health-care decisions of their employees is a slippery slope with no end, Hogue said. Every American could potentially be affected by this far-reaching and shocking decision that allows bosses to reach beyond the boardroom and into their employees' bedrooms.

Or a very little rock.
“Such a “right” was wrongly legislated from the bench by activist justices imo.”
And I believe Ruth Bader Ginsburg is of the same opinion as well.
Where is leadership when you need it/them? Is there anyone man or woman enough to tell Ilyse, "JUST SHUT UP!"? Since when does some radical, leftist group have the right to tell any employer it HAS to provide any service to its employees. Seems like Facism to me.
Case goes the liberal, evil way, lots of rejoicing from the left.
Case goes the conservative, righteous way, near-riots break out.
Here, I'll do it, "Ilyse, JUST SHUT UP!
Why would four lesbians (that includes Breyer) care about birth control?
Mind your manners lest I turn you into a newt.
Actually, about the same as a European Swallow.

The Left would have you believe that this opinion was all about contraception. But it wasn’t. It was about abortifacients masquerading as contraception, and whether or not government can force folks to pay for those they employ to destroy their posterity. Of course, what it, and all cases like it, should be about, actually, is the immorality, unconstitutionality, and illegality of the murder of ANY person via chemical or surgical means. While I’m glad that the owners of Hobby Lobby aren’t being forced to violate their own consciences, the question must be asked, where is the outrage against the even more egregious violation of the right to equal protection for the right to life for these millions of helpless little persons in the womb?
“the right to life for these millions of helpless little persons in the womb?”
Half of whom would have been women.
Who’s “warring”, after all?
Glad someone sees this. The Green family doesn’t want to pay for abortifacients. That’s the only class of contraceptives involved here. They do pay for lots of other coverage of contraceptives.
You are not seeing all the facts.

Hobby Lobby already supplies some contraceptives.
They didn’t like the mandate.....read that link posted farther up in the thread.
I was addressing a previous post; not commenting on the Hobby Lobby decision specifically.
Ilyse Hogue, a social change practitioner, media consumer and analyst, and online engagement expert, is the president of NARAL Pro-Choice America. Previously, she served as Co-Director of Friends of Democracy, a 2012 initiative to build political power around the issue of money in politics and as Senior Adviser to Media Matters for America where she focused on advocacy programs to undercut the power of right-wing media. From 2006- 2011, Ilyse was Director of Political Advocacy and Communications for MoveOn.org.
Prior to joining MoveOn, Ilyse was Program Director at the Rainforest Action Network, where she spent six years pioneering and implementing corporate advocacy campaigns in the banking, forest, and other sectors. She was the recipient of the Business Ethics Network award in 2005 for her work in the financial sector, a campaign that was ultimately instrumental in moving over 60 multinational banks to adopt a groundbreaking framework of environmental standards for private investment known as the Equator Principles. These principles led to a host of voluntary initiatives in the US banking sector, including from Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America. Ilyse was the chief negotiator in each of those agreements and worked to market them to a spectrum of constituencies, from institutional investors to environmental NGOs. A Harvard Business School case study was written in 2005 about this work, and she has lectured on it at Yale and Columbia. She has been a frequent speaker and writer about corporate power, corporate accountability and multi-national institutions that govern financial and corporate behavior. Ilyse was very involved in the global justice movement, traveling from Seattle to South Africa and many places in between working with international allies on corporate power. She is the co-founder of smartMeme Strategy and Training project which works to amplify the impact of grassroots organizing with new strategy and training resources, values based communications, collaborations, and meme campaigning. Ilyse serves on the board of Rebuild the Dream, Oil Change International, Story of Stuff, and National Domestic Worker’s Alliance. Ilyse holds an M.S. in Resource Ecology Management from the University of Michigan where she studied the impact of resource constraints in politics and culture. Her BA is from Vassar College.

Fascinating description. I could use it.
I'm a social change practitioner: I go around with a gang of little children, acting rather weird.
I'm a media consumer and analyst: I read books and watch programs, write about my opinions, and engage in discussions.
I'm an online engagement expert: I have lots of FRiends with whom I engage online every day (unless the Interwebs iz borked), and I also email my mother.
How about male justices stand with little babies against murderous mothers?
