The world is reeling with the horrifying spectacle of the recent stunning success of the Sunni Islam, ISIS, (Islamic Society of Syria and Iraq),which in the past two weeks has taken over most of Iraq, and is currently encircling Baghdad. The group has become the richest terror organization in the world after plundering banks in Mosul(Biblical Ninevah), and as a prize has taken Fallujah and Tikrit, places the United States,Britain and their coalition spent billions in treasure and thousands of our finest young lives to

What I’m thinking is the mess in the Middle East. What I’d watch for is someone coming up saying the have the answer to all the war and strife and if only they would give him power to handle it .....
amen!
Plain old crass political move on part of president Obummer to satisfy war weary American voters. He should have left 20,000 troops in Iraq as the generals wanted. We have more troops than that in Germany & S. Korea after 75 years.
I didn’t know you had a book out. I just ordered it and I look forward to reading it.
I’ve always enjoyed your posts and I have found them very informative.
Some great descriptions of muslims in these 3 Bible passages!
Scary stuff. It all comes back to the Holy Land. Pray hard.
C’mon people. What evidence do you have that these Islamist are any worse than any other? Obama said so? CNN, ABC ,CBS,and Fox said so? The rhetoric is only to give the President latitude. The Sunni are the historical power players in Iraq. These are the people we should have set up shop with. Once more we chose the wrong side. The good news is they are killing each other and they hate each other more than they hate us.
Thank you, Pastor Bill.
The anti-Christ will be welcomed by many because the world will be in such dire straits. Obama is putting it all in place.
A lot of marauding hordes have barreled through what is now Iraq over the past two millennia: The Persians on several occasions, the Arabs, the Seljuk Turks, the Mongols, the Ottoman Turks, the Turko-Mongols under Tamerlane, and the British. No wonder the geopolitician Halford Mackinder called the region a “shatterbelt.”
“The Shia are concentrated in Iran, southern Iraq, southern Lebanon and a minority in Syria.”
.
You forgot to mention that the bulk of the oil of Saudi Arabia is found in the Eastern Province which is predominantly Shia in a sea of Sunni, but that the Shia do not benefit from it as much as the Sunnis do.
The Royal family of S.A. are all Sunni.
That someone can only be a non-Muslim.
Thanks Boycott, let me know how like it.
Very good and important point, also I could have mentioned that the Shia are primarily clients of Russia, and the US through the Saudis, supported Sunni-(Alot of good that did us!)
I too have no doubt that all this is prepwork for what’s on the way. More geopolitical puzzle pieces of the end sliding into place. I’ve become 90% convinced that the “12th imam” will be the AntiChrist, that Pope Francis is the False Prophet, and the “historic peace treaty” that ushers in the Tribulation will be a deal in which Arabs agree for the Jews to rebuild the temple, in exchange for Israel giving up east Jerusalem.

Speaking of population...Kurds are NOT just a small ethnic group as many imagine...their actual population is equal to that of Canada, though they are scattered in other nations as well.
Since Saddam was taken out...the Kurds have made enormous strides in building a “country” within Iraq. Their own army , Government, infrastructure is all in good shape. The only thing which has kept them from becoming an independent country is cash flow, which after taking over the oil now would make them independent of Baghdad’s “cut” from the oil. They would have no need of Baghdad now. I think Iraq will become a federation....with three seperate regions..which of course many had determined would come to this in time.
How the Kurds, (Medes), come into the prophetic picture will be very interesting to observe in the months and years ahead. Especially since they are favorable toward Israel...and vice-versa.
