At the top of her flourishing career, a beautiful Spanish model has given it all up to become a nun.
Olalla Oliveros, a beautiful and well known Spanish model who did advertisements, television commercials, and worked as an actress has given up her career and decided to become a nun. Last month, Oliveros entered the semi-cloistered Order of Saint Michael.

It won't be retired. She'll be working hard, not just sitting around. Yes, we all know what you meant, but sex isn't the only thing in life.

Celibacy is not a requirement to work for the Church. There are many, many ways to work for the Church that don't require celibacy. After a long period of discernment, however, she chose this particular way of working for the Lord. So evidently sex is not at the top of the list of priorities for her. Other things are more important to her.

Yes, we should. And as a nun she will use her vocation for motherhood. She will just be a different kind of mother than most.
However, if nuns can now win the Italian "the Voice" and wear habits that end at the knee..might we soon have a nun pageant of sorts..? The new Pope is exploring odd ways to reach out..
Every beautiful body is retired by time sooner or later.
nobody chooses his calling... the calling chooses him... she has not chosen to be a nun... that calling has chosen her...
