Boston’s annual homosexual “Pride” Parade — which will occur this Saturday, June 14th — is a cauldron of depravity. It is characterized by lewd behavior, immodest dress, and lurid displays of exhibitionism and sadomasochism. The message of the parade, and that of the festival which follows it in City Hall Plaza, is one of radical rejection of Christian morality, of pride in mortal sin.
Incredibly, this year it will actually be worse. The marshals of the 2014 parade will be the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a grotesque group of transvestites whose members costume themselves as Catholic nuns. They have a long history of mocking the Catholic Faith, producing obscene parodies of Catholic worship, exploiting Catholic religious imagery, and profaning Catholic symbols and sacramentals, such as the crucifix. Their blasphemies and sacrileges include the “Hunky Jesus” contest and the “Condom Savior Mass,” where contraceptives are distributed in place of Holy Communion.
Astonishingly, one of Boston’s most popular Catholic churches, Saint Anthony’s Shrine — administered by Franciscan friars, members of the same religious family as our Capuchin archbishop — will host an information booth at the festival in City Hall Plaza, where the parade ends. Whatever evasions, excuses, or rationalizations are offered, any sane person would reasonably conclude that the presence of the friars will send a signal of support and approval for an event which celebrates the sin of impurity against nature.
This is a betrayal of the Catholic Faith, and it is uncharitable to the souls who will be lost by confirming them in their deadly sins. Sadly, when it pertains to homosexuality, this is not the first time that Saint Anthony’s has compromised its Catholic identity.

No one in secular society should be expected to take seriously Catholic teaching about marriage, about chastity outside of marriage, or about Catholic ideals of modesty and purity in speech, dress, and behavior, when one of Boston’s best known Catholic institutions participates in something as course, as crudely lascivious, and as flagrantly pornographic as a homosexual pride festival. I think it depends on what this “information booth” is promoting. Jesus himself went into the dens of sin to preach to sinners. It’s not the healthy who need a physician. If you want to save sinners you have to go where the sinners are. BUT...if the booth is encouraging or promoting this parade and what it represents then everything in the article is spot on.
What kind of information booth? I would pray that the Friars will not be there to condone the event rather pray for the depraved souls attending it.
How is it that homosexuals have co-opted the word “pride”, as they have done with the word “gay”????
I heard about these “Pride” festivals. They sometimes don’t say what everyone is so proud about, but, any pride festivals I’ve heard of are homosexual events.
Some of these pride festivals even market the events as “family friendly”, and say, bring the whole family, bring the kids.
How disgusting. Of course people have rights to put on their parade. I for one will not bring the children.

In Canada (Toronto) the homofascists laugh at efforts to make the city parades "family friendly" by enforcing laws against public/public nudity. They say it is their time to let their freak flag fly, get their rocks off, and basically stick it in the eye of the rest of society.
Lector removed from Mass. shrine after gay memoir
BOSTON — A Catholic shrine in Boston has removed a man from several lay leadership posts after he wrote a memoir in which he described himself as “a happy porn-writing Sodomite.”
Scott Pomfret served eight years at St. Anthony Shrine, including as a Eucharistic minister. That was after disclosing to the Franciscans who run the shrine that he had published erotic works and advocated same-sex marriage.
The Boston Globe reports that his sarcastic memoir, “Since My Last Confession,” was too much for church leaders. The book mocks Cardinal Sean O’Malley and suggests some local clergy are sexually active.
St. Anthony’s executive director, the Rev. David Convertino, said some became concerned about Pomfret’s role.
Pomfret said he was “amazed” the friars removed him from leadership because he interviewed many for the book.

I once had the misfortune of seeing a news item that contained uncensored photos of a “Pride” parade. Public sex acts, nudity, grotesque behavior. If the Friars are there to spread the Good News and offer the way to forgiveness, God Bless them. Any other reason is an affront to faithful Catholics. Vivat Jesus!

I remember when the Catholic teenagers went to a world wide youth event in Spain and the members of these “cauldrons of depravity” assaulted the kids at the bus stops making lewd gestures and waving dildoes in their face.
And the kids fell to their knees and began praying, fight evil on every front.
OK, calls and letters to the Cardinal are needed. Better yet the good people of Boston should not put any money in the collection plates this weekend. If only!

The Catholic church seems to be hell-bent on destroying itself, by letting bearded savages pray with them, and letting the alternate-forms-of-sex crowd take over Catholic institutions.

I read the other day that the Vatican allowed muslim prayers. Islam is not holy, it is of the anti-Christ.

Don’t worry. This is not really anything new. Bishops, Nuns, and priests have been trying to destroy the church since it began. This is just the latest crap. God will clean house.
At first upon reading the headline and blub on the index thread, I was concerned. However, if they are only having a booth at the end as the article says, then it is actually a good thing. I am not Catholic, and I disagree with much of the Catholic doctrine.
However, If this were say the year 50 AD, I do believe you would have found the Apostle Paul at the end trying to win converts to Christ.
If the church were participating in a way that supported the lewd behavior, immodest dress, and lurid displays of exhibitionism and sadomasochism, then I would be concerned.
Truth is, there should be a lot of Christians standing were the Saint Anthony’s Shrine is going to be to enlighten the lost by sharing the Gospel of Christ with the truth in hopes of saving some lost souls.
What a statement this is about my fellow Evangelicals who could lose some potential converts to the catholic church.
Saint Francis of Assisi wouldn’t have done this. He embraced Lady Chastity.
