Protestants Need to Convert (and Bad Catholics need to Revert)

Controversial, yes, but true. Otherwise, we don’t believe in Church dogma or the reality of the sin of heresy.

Michael Voris makes some good points in this video. To the line “we don’t talk about religion and politics here,” he has added a third forbidden subject, sex. Regarding the older form of that yarn, Brother Francis once made an innocently humorous response to someone while he was out doing our work on the streets. A man said to him, “There are two things, we don’t talk about here!”

To which Brother responded, with a slightly feigned naïveté, “Really? What are those?”

“Religion and Politics!” responded the man.

And Brother said, “What’s wrong with politics?”

The Catholic Church does not codify sin like so many protestant denominations.

I’m Catholic but yo dude, the war between Prods and Catholics is long over.
To post Prods introduced all those deviant things is blasphemy of their religion.

Unfortunately, all of those items you list as having been given by Protestants, existed before Protestantism or Catholicism were around. Read the Old Testament and you’ll see that.

And secularism is rebellion against Christianity in general.

>>Protestantism gave us abortion, artificial contraception, living together without being married, sexual promiscuity, not calling sin sin, as in homosexual “marriage”. Not one of these things have ever been taught in the Catholic Church

And not one of those things was created by any Protestant church.

There are Catholics who do those things too. There are liberal Catholics just as there are liberal Protestants. Let’s agree that liberals of any church are tools of Satan and are an infection in the body of Christ as long as they place their politics as the primary focus of their life.

So if the reformation never happened.... Those things would have not appeared in our culture....?

I guess the USA would be a Catholic theocracy ?

Okey dokey....

All I ask myself is who does the divisiveness serve most.

It serves democrats and it serves evil.

“If you follow my advice above, you might come across some of Paul’s preaching against that very thing”

And if you follow Saint Paul’s advice you will be believe in the Real Presence and not make fun of Catholics who have been been receiving Holy Blood and Body of Christ for 2,000 years, EXACTLY LIKE SAINT PAUL DID!!

I’m really puzzled with your statement about the last verse of Revelation. Why do you say it? Catholics believe that The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.

What leads you to say what you did — Catholic doctrine is false and contradicts the last verse in Revelation.

It doesn’t at all.

Catholic doctrine believes all of the Bible including this last chapter. Exactly where is problem?

Revelation, chapter 22

View all books of the Bible

CHAPTER 22

1Then the angel showed me the river of life-giving water,* sparkling like crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamba

2down the middle of its street. On either side of the river grew the tree of life* that produces fruit twelve times a year, once each month; the leaves of the trees serve as medicine for the nations.

3Nothing accursed will be found there anymore. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him.

4They will look upon his face,* and his name will be on their foreheads.

5Night will be no more, nor will they need light from lamp or sun, for the Lord God shall give them light, and they shall reign forever and ever.b

VII. Epilogue*

6And he said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true, and the Lord, the God of prophetic spirits, sent his angel to show his servants what must happen soon.”c

7* “Behold, I am coming soon.”* Blessed is the one who keeps the prophetic message of this book.d

8It is I, John, who heard and saw these things, and when I heard and saw them I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me.

9But he said to me, “Don’t! I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brothers the prophets and of those who keep the message of this book. Worship God.”e

10Then he said to me, “Do not seal up the prophetic words of this book, for the appointed time* is near.

11Let the wicked still act wickedly, and the filthy still be filthy. The righteous must still do right, and the holy still be holy.”

12“Behold, I am coming soon. I bring with me the recompense I will give to each according to his deeds.f

13I am the Alpha and the Omega,g the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”*

14Blessed are they who wash their robes so as to have the right to the tree of life and enter the city* through its gates.h

15Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the unchaste, the murderers, the idol-worshipers, and all who love and practice deceit.i

16“I, Jesus, sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the root and offspring of David,* the bright morning star.”j

17The Spirit and the bride* say, “Come.” Let the hearer say, “Come.” Let the one who thirsts come forward, and the one who wants it receive the gift of life-giving water.k

18I warn everyone who hears the prophetic words in this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book,

19and if anyone takes away from the words in this prophetic book, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city described in this book.l

20* m The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!

21The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.

Christ’s Church is founded on Himself, the Savior of Mankind, not on human beings. Here is where the insane Catholic addiction to worshipping humans began. Worship Christ, not Mary, not the so-called saints. We have one high priest - Jesus Christ the Righteous. Wake up from the mind control that corrupt priests and nuns have beaten into you.

Look, I grew up in heavily-catholic Louisiana and have many Catholic extended-family members.

I have no major problem with Catholicism per se....

HOWEVER, I have seen too much inconsistency in church doctrine vs. practice; history is rife with the abuses of the Catholic hierarchy.... (I could go on and on)

Sorry, but Catholicism is just not for me - but I am a God-fearing, Bible-believing Christian.

We need to all follow the Word of God and the example of Christ - let’s leave the sectarian/denominational squabbles to the Muslims, shall we?

Protestantism gave us abortion,

While only one member of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court was Catholic, they voted for death for babies. Furthermore, just in the last couple of years, outright pro-abortion politicians have been invited to speak at prominent Catholic churches, despite early and outright warnings given to bishops by pro-lifers

artificial contraception,

That's been around since the days of the Pharaohs, if not earlier... Also, I have to correct Catholics all the time on the dangers of birth control, because not only do they not hear the dangers when at Mass, but they're outright TOLD by family members who are priests that "it's OK"...

living together without being married,

(Ditto)

sexual promiscuity,

Hello! Have you ever read the Bible?!? (You're Catholic, so probably not...) Both the Old and New Testament are full of people getting in trouble because they can't keep their sex organs under control!

not calling sin sin, as in homosexual “marriage”.

The cast of Duck Dynasty has put their butts on the line 1000X more than the Pope - or his designated hitter on this situation, one Bishop Salvatore J. Cordileone. And the Pope JUST con-celebrated a Mass with an "out" priest, who ALSO teaches that it's unreasonable for gays to give up sex!

Not one of these things have ever been taught in the Catholic Church.

I've seen each of these things pushed by prominent Catholics outside of Church, and despite repeated urgings by me and others to address them in a less cowardly way, the Church remains deathly silent on ALL these issues.

No, FRiend.

Protestantism didn’t give ANY of that.

Those things are all based in humanity’s sinful nature and people now knowing/not caring about God’s Word and the Love of Christ and His sacrifice.

The vile nature of unGodly man is the cause of those abominations you mention: not protestantism.

John 10: 14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have , which are not of this fold: them also I must bring , and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
