Look, I grew up in heavily-catholic Louisiana and have many Catholic extended-family members.

I have no major problem with Catholicism per se....

HOWEVER, I have seen too much inconsistency in church doctrine vs. practice; history is rife with the abuses of the Catholic hierarchy.... (I could go on and on)

Sorry, but Catholicism is just not for me - but I am a God-fearing, Bible-believing Christian.

We need to all follow the Word of God and the example of Christ - let’s leave the sectarian/denominational squabbles to the Muslims, shall we?

The Catholic Church does not support:
abortion
euthanasia
contraception
same sex marriage
embryonic stem cell research
in vitro fertilization

Then please take at look at how many Protestant sects support these fallacies.
