She is completely new, completely transformed, and completely clean. This is not because she became a part of a helpful program, or because she really pulled herself together. Its because God, in his incredible, infinite kindness, took Taylors dark, crimson life, and made her as white as a snow. He took all of her sins on placed them on his Son, and then gave her Jesus righteousness to wear like a perfect white wedding dress. Preach it brother.

It's nice to read about a GOOD ending for a change.
You both are truly blessed.

Beautiful on so many levels.
Thanks so much for the post.
Thank You Lord, for the gift of forgiveness.

Mazel Tov! I wish you both, well.

When I was reading this and he said his wife was “Taylor” for a brief moment I panicked and thought this was about the “new marriage”....glad it wasn’t THAT!
To: Gamecock
I hope it works... but I put the over / under at 7 years.

looks like someone is trying to get the freaks in society hitched by pushing a warm-n-fuzzy story
whatever
it’ll just cause more domestic issues down the road as those women are radically unstable. once the marriage is busted, the female will be with offspring and suckling at the fedgov teat. which insures the kid will vote dem

....everything changes when people meet Jesus. Jesus takes people like rebellious teenage partiers, and goody-two-shoe homeschoolers and puts them together in marriage to put something on display much bigger than their own hand-crafted, perfectly planned love-story. Right in the middle of the mess of life, Taylor met Jesus, and he planted his flag in her life, and she believed in him and he transformed her. The Taylor who spent her life living from one pleasure to the next died, and a new person was born. A new person with new desires, and a new heart that longed to please God, serve people, and treasured Jesus Christ above all other pleasure.
And this is how I see Taylor.

Good thing Jesus never bothered with the damaged and only sought out the best of the best. Preaching to the choir is so much easier and we all know the ‘unstable’ will never see the light.

Helping people, praying for people, ministering to people, caring for people, being involved in peoples lives, making a difference in peoples lives, helping people successfully put their past behind them and live productive lives.... all of this is good.... but marrying people is something completely different. In my opinion .... marriage between a man and a woman is not an outreach program.

Good luck with that, Spencer.

So marriage should only happen between a man and woman who are deemed suitable by those around them rather than by the love they share? Seems to me, this young man practices what he preaches. Are her past sins any more severe than his?

It doesn’t have anything to do with what is suitable to those around them. It may be about being unequally yolked. It may not. But marriage is not an outreach program. For all this guy knows he’s marrying the seed that was sewed on rocky soil. It may very well wither and die out. You don’t know. Marriage is for the rest of your lives. And marriage brings kids into the world. It is not an outreach program, no matter how good the story makes us “feel”.

For all this guy knows hes marrying the seed that was sewed on rocky soil. And that NEVER happens with nice girls who grew up in church and went to youth group.

Good morning.
Nice story.
I spent a few years in college trying to deny the existence of Jesus, the Christ.
He wouldn't let me go.
