Corrected my iPhone’s self correcting gibberish

It's a poor workman that blames his tools.

...the same words from a trusted knowledgeable friend is testimony.

ONLY if this 'trusted knowledgeable friend' is speaking his OWN words to the assembled court.

It is INADMISSIBLE 'testimony' if YOU repeat his alleged words.

Notice that I cast no aspersions toward anyone as I presented the facts of the issue.

I did not imply they were dumb, or duplicitous, or stupid because a ‘literate’ person would know that.

I did not imply they were...

I can ALWAYS find a cartoon or two later if they persist in proving to be unteachable in certain areas!

So much one-upmanship: so little time...

We’ve heard (hearsay) from various sources (who shall remain anonymous) that size doesn’t matter; but HOW it is used.

I think (my opinion) this prattle back and forth about who ‘has’ more Scripture in their services might (speculation) fall into this category.

Yes; I’ve been in Catholic services, and yes Scripture is read, and yes the congregation does the call and response thing with the priest.

And yes, it was all very impressive. The words were all memorized (by both sides) and could be repeated, in unison, quite distinctly and clear.

There was a LOT of standing up, and sitting down; too.

I wont go into how badly some on the forum reacted to my mentioning it...

Perhaps your coming across in a somewhat superior attitude had something to do with their reactions.

Find where else "χαρις" should be translated as "favor" and not as "grace".

James Strong (August 14, 1822 – August 7, 1894) was an American Methodist biblical scholar and educator

Strong

I don't see what authority a Methodist has over St. Jerome.

means of symbolizing "radiance" or "glory" in painting and sculpture was the halo

Not well suited to sculpture. I do not argue in favor of Michelangelo's statue, simply pointing out that the "horned" metaphor was well understood in his time, as was St. Jerome's intention. Also, art was understood correctly as a medium of theological reflection and not naturalistic portraiture.

you said ["]Protestantism always seeks to destroy something["].

Yup. I did. Take it as gospel: you guys do. Protestantism did nothing of value in the past 500 years.

you conceptually switch positions

By providing a marker to where I am referring to in the kilobytes of ungrammatical text that you force me to read? Now I have to also repeat it? Get a secretary.

If I can't get you [+6 paragraphs]

Aha.

A final thought...I was talking about "some" Roman Catholics who wrongly accuse another Christian of lying. That statement alone DOES presume the RC is a Christian, else I would not have used the word "another".

In that case I withdraw my admonition and apologize for offending you

You Elise said hearsay

I said it was their testimony

Prove what they said and what I related was wrong and win akimbo $750

If you no one on the forum can disprove it

We’ll then it’s likely confirmed.

So prove I’m wrong

partial sentences are quoted so as to imply something other

Well, in that case, yes. I did not take the post seriously and chose to make fun of it instead.
