Dear Salvation, I haven’t been on FR very long, have never done a vanity and haven’t asked anyone for anything to date. I’m writing to ask if it is at all possible for a prayer request for 2 of my sisters who are facing surgeries this week. One on Monday 2/17 for heart surgery and the other sister is on Tuesday 2/18 for a double mastectomy with breast cancer.
I’m beside myself with concern and know all to well the power of prayer. If this is in anyway inappropriate, I sincerely apologize. I was unsure where to turn in my time of need.

I wanted to write a quick update today and thank everyone for their kind prayers!
My baby sister is out of surgery and the great news is there was NO cancer in the lymph nodes!!!
Such a beautiful outcome and I give all the Glory to God.

The best isn’t it?! So relieved today :)
He truly is amazing! He is good and constant and humble enough to tell us how to be good children while letting us suffer the scrapes of disobedience. We are all prodigal sons and daughters who have gone our own ways and He welcomes us back with open arms - again and again. He makes good out of all that happens if we only open our eyes and are willing/able to recognize it. More prayers up for your two sisters (and all their loved ones) - I mentioned them in the same breath as I mentioned God and He hears all.
