Outside the Claremont United Methodist Church is a nativity scene with a bleeding Trayvon Martin. The California Church has turned their nativity scene "into a piece of art that comments on our times" for the last seven years.
John Zachary, the artist, told me the acquittal in July of George Zimmerman, who fatally shot the 17-year-old African-American in 2012, struck him as a worthy subject for Christmas comment.
For one thing, the backdrop to the Christmas story is the slaughter by King Herod of all infants in Bethlehem, a barbarous attempt to kill the Messiah.

Trayvon received a fatal consequence for behavior that the left wants to occur without consequence.

Before I moved from NC, one day there was a news story about two brothers killed in two separate incidences of drug violence on the same night. Their mother was on television, crying and screaming, “Dey don’t care nuttin’ ‘bout our black kids.”
Where was she when they were still alive? Why don’t these women ever accept any responsiblity in the deaths of their children, who are running around unsupervised with guns and drugs while punching out whitey?
Sad, but I see no hope for the future of our country, as this human waste will one day outnumber the productive members of society.
If only they would appreciate what they have before them.

Churches are getting soggy in the mind and forgot truth. Perfect example of the sick saturated minds of millions of Americans.
The article says: “Zachary described that when looking for pictures of Trayvon “one of the teenager lying dead on the pavement particularly tore at him.”
So, what I was saying is that when he SAID he was looking at some photos and saw one of Martin lying on the pavement, he was lying. There are NO photos anywhere of Martin lying on the pavement.
The artist should have done a live scene with some punk beating his head into the sidewalk.
That is what I don’t understand. From their hatred, it would seem that they resent being here. If their ancestors had remained in Africa, most of them would never have even been born.
All they have to do is look at the slaughters of their people that have happened over the centuries. Theirs is a life of privilege and opportunity here, but many choose to simmer in a pool of hatred and plan ways to get their reparations.
