Here is the English translation of link:

(Vatican) Francis Pope took today personnel decisions to another Roman Pontifical Council ago. The Catholic Church leader confirmed Cardinal Angelo Amato as prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints . However, Cardinal Amato will continue only after the formula " Donec aliter provideatur " and thus provisionally in office. In contrast, Pope Francis Archbishop Marcello Bartolucci confirmed as secretary of the Congregation with regular term. This difference in treatment suggests that Cardinal Amato is the future of the Roman Curia , at least as Prefect of the Congregation , not backed up.

Were confirmed or newly appointed as members of the congregation , however, the Cardinals Jean -Claude Turcotte , Juan Luis Cipriani Thorne , Ennio Antonelli, Agostino Vallini , Antonio Cañizares Llovera , Paul Josef Cordes, Angelo Comastri , Stanisław Ryłko , Francesco Monte Risi, Kurt Koch , Paolo Sardi , Velasio de Paolis , Manuel Monteiro de Castro, Santos Abril y Castelló , Francesco Coccopalmerio and James Michael Harvey. Similarly, the archbishops and bishops : Félix del Blanco Prieto , Fabio Berardo D' Honorius , Giovanni Paolo Benotto , Salvatore Fisichella, Zygmunt Zimowski , Renato Boccardo , Lorenzo Chiarinelli , Marcello Semeraro , Lino Fumagalli , Paolino Schiavon , Antoni Stankiewicz , Gianfranco Girotti , Ambrogio Spreafico , Raffaello Martinelli .

Cardinal Burke fallen out of favor with Pope Francis ? On Monday distant Pope Francis Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke as a member of the Congregation for Bishops (see separate report Other victims of the curia reconstruction - Cardinal Burke removed from the Congregation for Bishops ) . Today he dismissed him as a member of the Congregation of Saints . Pope Francis seems to dismantle the traditional friendly U.S. Cardinal gradually . That Cardinal Burke was not among the Francis - voters , in Rome applies since April as an open secret. Whether he is therefore dropped or because of his partisanship for the extraordinary form of the Roman rite with Pope Francis in disgrace, is not known. Currently, Cardinal Burke is only a member of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments . One of the three Departments of , has not yet decided on the Pope Francis.

Were confirmed or appointed by the Pope , the Consul gates of the Congregation of Saints , including Don Nicola Bux , Bishop Erich Schmid, Monsignor William Imkamp ( Maria Pieta , Diocese of Augsburg) and Christoph Ludwig

I agree, shame though with other so called Christian churches turning from the Bible, the Catholic Church had a real opportunity to reclaim it’s mantle as the mother church. I am afraid it will lose all credibility as have Anglican and some Methodist and Lutherans.

I agree with you. One reason I decided to investigate the Catholic Church was that I thought it had the intellectual ammunition to defend the Bible. But I found it not only was uninterested in doing so, it actually joined the other side and warred on Biblical veracity constantly.

Catholic leaders like to claim how ecumenical they are. They actually could have had an ecumenical link with Fundamentalist Protestants but chose instead to spit in their faces and jump in bed with liberal Protestants who believe absolutely nothing. There isn't a single Catholic "apologetics" organization aimed at liberal Protestantism. They are all aimed at Fundamentalist Protestantism and treat it like leprosy (the real thing, not tzara`at).

The only logical reason the Catholic Church is friendly with liberal Protestants and hates Fundamentalists is that they agree with the liberal Protestants. Shame, shame, shame on the Catholic Church. They decided to join the trailer park bashing mainstream so everyone would like them. Then they turn around and boast of their own millions of illiterate peasants. Of course, those are the "right kind" of illiterate peasants, aren't they?

And you know this because you started the fires for the black smoke and white smoke? LOL! No way could you know this.

Here's a wacky concept that you might want to try: read the article before you post.

Case in point: allow me to reproduce the entire third paragraph, with some text emphasized:

On Monday distant Pope Francis Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke as a member of the Congregation for Bishops (see separate report Other victims of the curia reconstruction - Cardinal Burke removed from the Congregation for Bishops ) . Now allow me to reproduce my post #9, with some text emphasized:

Cardinal Burke was not among the Francis - voters

Ping for later

See anything familiar? Ooooh, "No way could I know this!"

Speaking of the Person of the Year for the gay magazine, notice how Francis has kept silent. He should be commenting loud and clear what Church teaching is on homosexuality and homosexual acts. Instead, he allows the “Who am I to judge?” comment to stand. He absolutely got what he wanted.

I’m not so sure you will see blatant changes. It will be slow and subtle. It’s the way Modernists work. They’ve been doing this subtle stuff since VII. That’s why we need to “keep watch”.

Perhaps Alex is a Calvinist operative deeply embedded in the hierarchy of Rome.

It's also been rumored that he is a mod on a certain Conservative website

How does the author know how the conclave voted? Brings vast discredit to the article.

Speaking of "vast discredit":

While the workings of the conclave are secret, Bergoglio won the papacy, according to comments from cardinals, Vatican experts and leaks to Italian newspapers, in part because the Vatican-based cardinals protective of their bureaucracy snubbed the presumptive front-runner, and a favored candidate of reformers, Cardinal Angelo Scola....
....Bergoglio apparently went through the first round of voting, which took place on Tuesday evening, into the conclave as a leading vote-getter, but a number of other eminences garnered some votes...Cardinals Bergoglio, Scola and Marc Ouellet of Canada were the leaders....
....While Bertone failed to give him support, Scola certainly had his share of believers in the Italian Bishops Conference -- it sent out a message congratulating him for becoming pope 20 minutes after Francis was named. The conference later blamed a technical glitch.
-- from the thread Ouellet was an early favourite in conclave vote: report

You know, I'm beginning to think that Catholics are illiterate in more areas than just Bible reading.

So are you suggesting that, because of this one part, Francis did not remove Burke from yet another position of influence? It either happened or it didn’t.

Also, rather than responding and taking issue with what other posters say how about responding to the topic?

What does this mean to you?

What’s with all the conspiracy carp? Looks to me as though there were lots of changes in appointments, as there SHOULD be, from time to time.

The most prolife outspoken American, Cardinal Burke, in the congregation that chooses our bishops has been replaced by a milquetoast politician cardinal who steadfastly refuses to obey canon law. Burke has also been removed from the congregation for the causes of saints at the same time that the centuries old standards for declaring saints are being jettisoned.

There is certainly cause for alarm at what is happening in Rome. The open attack on Traditional Catholicism is accelerating.

Thanks for posting this. I had not been aware of this until today. The recent VIS release naming the current members of this congregation appears to confirm that Cardinal Burke is no longer a member.
