CHARLESTON, WV -
Police are on the lookout for a suspect in an armed robbery in Huntington, WV.
According to dispatchers, it happened outside of Kroger, located on 1st Street and 7th Avenue at 2:37 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14.
Dispatchers say a male armed with a handgun robbed one of the bell ringers of The Salvation Army, took an entire bucket of donations, and fled on foot.
We spoke to bell ringers at another Kroger location on 5th Avenue, who tell us police stopped by to tell them to take precautions.

Let me guess — the suspect was Amish.
Obviously this putz not only doesn’t have a fear of the law, he has no fear of God, either.
No, no, no, he was “a male.” Everyone needs to be on the look out for “a male.”

How about a handgun?
Yeah, that $7.55 comprised mostly of nickels and pennies will really make this loser rich.
When I saw this at 6pm on wsaz site they showed the suspect from the store’s cam. So yea..I’d say he’s amish.
Take a look at the comments on wsaz’s site!!

Sounds like the Salvation Army may need to arm their troops. The policies of the current administration and the cowardice of the RINO opposition are taking the country to hell in a handbasket.

I once rang bells for the Salvation Army. I knew at one time just how much each kettle could hold. You’d be surprised. It was about $850.00 to $1000. in coins and dollars. One time my kettle was freaking heavy and it was about $500. That loose change really adds up at the end of the day. I really should not say this on an open forum like this I only hope by telling all you this it will encourage others to drop their change in and not junkies to steal it.
Really took a Toll on him.
I think you mean aMAL-eh.
Couldn’t help it....
I was expecting to see Chicago timeline.
I figured it was one of those Catholic wealth redistributionists we're hearing so much about now.
I just love that pic. It makes me smile. :-)
