COSTA MESA, Calif. — Paul Crouch, the televangelist who built what's been called the world's largest Christian broadcasting network, has died. He was 79.
Crouch died at his home in California on Saturday after a decade-long fight with degenerative heart disease, his grandson, Brandon Crouch, told The Associated Press.
"He was an incredible businessman, entrepreneur, visionary; he built something that impacted the world," he said.
Trinity Broadcast Network had reported that Crouch fell ill and was taken to a hospital in October while visiting the network's facility in Colleyville, Texas. He later returned to California for continued treatment of "heart and related health issues."

I have heard a bunch of rumors about Crouch but have no idea if they are true. It’s easy to start rumors about people in the spot light it’s hard to verify such things.
The man built an empire over 40 years reaching over 1 billion people; do you think such an endeavor is possible without God’s favor?

How do you know?
I think these guys might be guilty of some personality disorders but they seemed to be okay on the majors just off on a lot of minors. I don’t dare presume to know where they are now but I think they might well be in Heaven. I’ve heard all the rumors surrounding these men but one can’t say that many people were not blessed by their actions and words at least from a distance through their TV ministries. Now someone like Warren - He needs some prayer and Holy Spirit led guidance as he seems to be leading people into a NWO ecumenical false church as far as I’m concerned.
The wife of this man was a eyesore. I would watch them on TV for a minute or two to see his wife in her freak makeup and wigs, and that baby voice.
He oversaw the preaching of another gospel. I don’t speculate on his present location, but I wouldn’t mess with changing the truth of the Bible.

Blasphemy. People need to be using a lot of discernment and getting into the word to make sure their theology is right.
That clearly isn't happening. Too many people are depending on experience and using that to measure Scripture instead of using Scripture to measure their experience.

We're talking about a man who is claiming that people are one with God, that they are God, and who is praying death threats over those who oppose them.
Well, I oppose that kind of blasphemous teaching.
