Pray for our American Heroes and Nation

We give thanks to You, Lord, for You are good! For Your mercy endures forever.

For our Nation, today our prayer is simple, “Save us O God of our salvation; Gather us together and deliver us from our enemies, to give thanks to Your holy name, to triumph in Your praise.” (1 Chron. 16) We know that our war is not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities. Deliver us from the enemy spirits that are influencing our leaders and our culture by Your Spirit. We trust You and have our faith exclusively on You.

For our military men and women, we pray Psalm 17:7-9 Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them. Keep them as the apple of Your eye; Hide them under the shadow of Your wings, From the wicked who oppress them, From their deadly enemies who surround them.

How good and wonderful it is to trust in You, Faithful God, who saved us and brought us safely into Your Kingdom by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, in whose Mighty Name we pray.
