Neither!

Kind of like choosing between anthrax and smallpox.

Someone on FB posted a link to a site which discusses tv “ministers”. I went to it and read some of the articles. One was about how osteen charges for getting seats close to him. Others were about how one needed an upgrade to his chopper and one needed his plane repainted. Made me nauseated. I had already seen through some of their donations for windfalls schemes. These numbskulls are getting wealthy from vulnerable people.

Joel Osteen obviously is not enough to keep thousands of people showing up every week...Apparently they have a lot of activity going on...Smaller groups where bible teaching takes place...Get togethers where families can bond with each other...You, know, like a real bible church...

How many of those millions partook of the “Sacrament” of Holy Communion lacking any scrap of meaningful understanding of its purpose, substance and effect?

Read First Corinthians 11:29.

Don’t they know that drinking from the one cup first of all is not necessary for the Body and Blood of Christ are both in the consecrated host? And secondly, it is no longer wine, it is the Blood of Jesus Christ and I am protected when I drink from the cup?

Some may disagree, but that’s my opinion.

The WHORE, or her DAUGHTERS, what’s the difference?

They’re both condemned.

They “left” the Catholic Church for the grinning Joel’s megachurch because they want to know how to make money. That’s what the grinnng hyena is good for. He’s not a preacher, never been to any kind of seminary. He’s an Amway salesman. They want to make money. They were never church going Catholics to start with.

that’s why the church would be better if the faithful stayed and those who don’t know the faith or practice it, leave.

This, my brothers and sisters, is the crux of the problem. These girls were raised as Catholics, but did not know about the Eucharist. They did not know that the Eucharist is God.

If they had believed that the Holy Eucharist is truly the Lord Jesus Christ, then they would have stayed.

So Catholics worship the eucharist....

And Catholics believe they are eating God.

PPS: With 1 billion strong, the Catholic Church is the real megachurch!

So when non-Catholics have a *mega church* it's bad, but when Catholicism is called the *real mega church*, Hey! it's all GOOD!

Hey, it's really all hypocrisy.....

2.“What will I do when I die?”

Honey; you'll turn to dust.

Just like ALL the 'saints' and even Mary has done.

Together we'll ALL await the Last Trump as the Dead in Christ.

Then, we'll arise to meet Him in the air, to ever be with the Lord.

As a cradle catholic it amazes me that good folks, esp Catholics, will buy into that tickle your ear prosperity gospel that the Paul warns us about.

And the Osteen’s have got to be the swarmyest couple ever I just can’t believe there and ounce of sincerity in them. The enjoyment value of DTV has cratered to such an extent that I admittedly watch the Osteens for amusement purposes only.

I’m not happy with the splintering of Christianity into a multitude of flavors and types.

I really don’t think it’s the biblical ideal, although the 7 Churches of Revelation hint at it.

It’s sad. Real Unity as meant by Jesus, in Spirit and in Truth, speaks to me.

First, Joel Osteen is overall criticized by those whom Rome loses the most members to, that of evangelical churches, while the idea that their lack of knowledge of the "Eucharist" is the problem is absurd .

The reality is that they were taught this, but as is abundantly evidenced weekly, receiving it does not manifestly result in the effects correspondent to the claims made for it.

And most who leave Catholicism for evangelical churches do so due to the spiritual deficiency of Rome, and what she most effectually teaches and fosters is liberalism, in overall contrast to the evangelical churches so-called "conservative" Rome treats as her enemy, nor her own liberal members whom she counts and treats as such in life and in death. For the preeminence of Rome is the real priority.

**I may as well have said, “Don’t you know that there are Martians in my back pocket.” She was unaware that the Catholic Church taught this. No idea.**

We still need lots of catechesis for adults.
