Two people I know need your prayers. A friend of mine legally adopted a troubled boy years ago. This man has done every thing he could to help this boy. I can't express in words to all of you what this man has done to try to help this child. You will all just have to believe me when I say this father has sacrificed much to do what he can. However the child still has much anger and is acting out in ways that are very dangerous. I also fear the child is getting worse as he gets older.
This child will turn 18 in a year and I fear he will throw away all the Christian teachings his father has tried to instill in him and do something that will cause great harm to either himself or his father.
My friend prays for this boy so much and I can tell he is sick to death. This father needs prayer to guide him through all this.
Thank you all,
Morgana
ping please
prayers.
Both of them are in my prayers at this very moment.
Prayers for them both.
Thank you!!
When the child turns 18, he is an adult—he is on his own. The father is to be praised for all he has done for him, but let him go his own way. I’ve no doubt God is proud of the father, but the young man will be responsible for his own deeds.
I’ll pray the father stays safe from this troubled young man and that anyone in his path stays safe, but the father is to be admired and prayed for.
I believe we are in the end times and the world is filled with trouble makers.
May God hold this father (and his troubled son) in the palm of His hand.
(I hope you are well, Morgana.)
May God bless this father and heal J.
That is true Mortrey but you don’t stop being a parent just because your child turns 18. You are a parent all your life. When you are 80+ years old you worry about your kids. I know because I saw this in my Grandmother.
This child may still need help, and lots of it even though he turns 18. In fact I am very sure of it. This child has suffered much.

Unfortunately, many adopted children come with a lot of generational baggage. The iniquities of the ancestors are brought down as a curse to the 3rd and 4th generation. These curses must be prayed against and broken. They are demonic assignments. Until the curses are broken unusually bad behavior, demonic behavior is exhibited. I pray this father and son find a strong Believer that will pray with them to break these curses. The book Prayers That Availith Much has some powerful prayers in it that might help. There are many adoptive families that are suffering because of this.
Prayers up. Will also have a candle buring for your friend and his son.
I know what you say is true—I have spoken out of turn—I apologize.
I don’t know the specifics, so I should not have commented. I just immediately thought of the sacrifices of the father; was not aware that the child had suffered.
There comes a time when we have done all we can do. It may be the right thing to do to trust this child/boy/man to professional care. Some adopted children have problems far beyond the ken of the normal family. Sometimes, it is clinical care that God uses to meet the needs of severely lost people.
In any event . . . ^
Prayers have been sent.
“Some adopted children have problems far beyond the ken of the normal family. “
I never knew just what these adopted kids went through before finding a home. This is if they find a home. This child was in foster care and a relative who could not care for him. Still that is not the worse part of it. You all just can’t imagine. No child should ever know this hell.
Praying for both.
