That is true Mortrey but you don’t stop being a parent just because your child turns 18. You are a parent all your life. When you are 80+ years old you worry about your kids. I know because I saw this in my Grandmother.

This child may still need help, and lots of it even though he turns 18. In fact I am very sure of it. This child has suffered much.

I know what you say is true—I have spoken out of turn—I apologize.

I don’t know the specifics, so I should not have commented. I just immediately thought of the sacrifices of the father; was not aware that the child had suffered.

Little kids, little problems - big kids, big problems.

Prayers up for both the young man and his father. God does work in mysterious ways. Sometimes it isn’t the answer we thought we wanted but He really does know what is best. Just have to listen to Him and let Him lead and guide.
