“murderers and people like him don’t deserve to breathe the same air as I do,” or “I hope he burns in hell,”

God's forgiveness requires 2 things. You must repent of your own sins, and be willing to forgive the sins of others as He did for you.

**Hate comes from hell. Mercy comes from Christ. **

And when we die, Christ is complete justice.

I’m sorry, did Gosnell admit to his murders and beg for forgiveness, and I missed it?

P.S. Dear author, taking responsibility for your past sins (and yours were REALLY horrendous) doesn’t just mean you raise your hand and say the words and go back to lunch, like Clinton and Obama like to do. It means there are consequences.

I have no right to judge anybody, poor sinner that I am.

I feel like an idiot.

Well the trial is over and Gosnell did not get the death penalty he got life for forfeiting his rights to an appeal.

I suppose in reality his fellow prisoners will pass judgment on him. They may be a little tougher than the Judge. Certainly his career was abominable. Making money killing babies. But there are many just like him, and it will go on. I would have gone for the death penalty, not because I judge him as unfit to live , but to make these others think before they continue on with their murderous careers. he can get all the mercy he needs when he stands before the real Judge, Jesus Christ.

I know some will say, “but you repented, that is the difference.” But what if I hadn’t…not yet. What if I was still inside the abortion industry? What if I was still an accomplice to murder? What if it took me longer to realize the truth? Do I deserve to die? Are we saying repentance is about our timing? Certainly, it is not about us. It about God and His perfect timing.

She did repent, and that is the difference.

If she were still in the industry, and still unrepentant, then she would be as guilty as Gosnell.

This piece is a bit incoherent. She seems to recognize the heinous nature of what he has done and what she herself did, but is hurt if people are upset about it.

People are upset. What Gosnell did is horrific. What she did evidently is on par with it according to her.

God saved her. He can save Gosnell too if he will ask.

Human justice demands that Gosnell pay a price, and lets her walk. There is something wrong with that, but it is what it is. Divine grace, on the other hand, washes her clean and offers to do the same for him if he will repent and accept it. But he'd have to face what he did to repent of it. He'll have a lot of time to think about it, so it may yet happen.

We can and should forgive the sin others cause to us. That is called mercy and only we can give that. We cannot and should not forgive the sin others cause others or to society. That is why Achan was stoned even after he confessed. Please read Judges 7.

God want us to judge righteously.

I do not think Gosnell can be saved. I certainly can’t say that with total confidence but I am pretty sure of it.

If a person continues to sin, in this case sin horribly, eventually their conscience becomes seared. They basically no longer have a conscience.

While Christ is always faithful to forgive if we repent, determine to do better and ask Christ to save us, some will never do that because they have just become too evil.

in america, as she said, women decide if a child lives or dies. not men. she doesn’t shove the blame off on “men”. if the woman wants the child, or doesn’t - a man can’t stop her either way. he has no legal ability to either way. it all rests on her choice. “choice” is non-existent for the man.

this whole mess is just sickening. hopefully as this is shown - the whole gosnell mess - to be the norm of the abortion industry, not rare exceptions, we will be able to dismantle much of the abortion industry in america.

it is the norm. it is not rare. the people doing abortions are scum, their conditions are filthy, they murder babies, and it’s time anyone working for them that still has a working conscience, gets some courage and takes them down, if for no other reason but for the safety of other women. for the truth, so they can look at themselves in the mirror, again, without self-disgust.

Did I slit the necks of children after they were born? No. But, I was an accomplice to murder. Thousands of times

Ridiculous snd unnecessary article. There is absolutely no comparison to what Ms. Johnson did as an abortion clinic worker, and what Dr. Kermit Mengele did - the cold-blooded murders of living children outside the womb with his own hands.

Well, I'm confused. She open with the assertion that she is "vehemently against the death penalty", but she goes on to say that she has not only killed two of her own children (to preserve her lifestyle) but was an accomplice in thousands of other deaths. Am I the only one that sees the disconnect?

I think this is one of those confused people that I simply won't pay any attention to. One day she will meet God and I'll let them hash it out.

She is right. As for how the doctor should be punished, and if he could be reformed, there was a guy once who said something about throwing stones or something like that....

John 8

8 1 but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.

2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.

But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.

9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”

11 “No one, sir,” she said.

“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
