When I was a small child, I sang in my church choir. I did that for several years (despite my lack of musical talent) but I have memories of only two songs -- one of which was a song about Zacchaeus coming down from the sycamore tree. I have no idea why that particular song stayed with me.

I'm currently reading "The Harbinger" and yesterday I got to the part that talks extensively about Isaiah 9:10 and the cutting of the sycamores. I, of course, thought about the New Testament and the story of Zacchaeus and the sycamore and Jesus.

And now this.

Makes me go, "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm."
