ick Warrens son has taken his own life. Matthew Warren, 27, had struggled with mental illness before his death.
Evangelist Greg Laurie posted an e-mail the Saddleback Church pastor sent to this staff: Only those closest knew that he (Matthew) struggled from birth with mental illness, dark holes of depression, and even suicidal thoughts. In spite of Americas best doctors, meds, counselors, and prayers for healing, the torture of mental illness never subsided. Today, after a fun evening together with Kay and me, in a momentary wave of despair at his home, he took his life. Click here to read a prayer request Rick Warren e-mailed to his staff.
Prayers and condolences are flooding into Warrens Facebook page. And Laurie also expressed his heartfelt pain over Warrens loss.

Correct, it is the result of demonic tampering with his spirit. That is why going to a doctor is worse than useless.
The YBPDLNPL is generally published infrequently, but based on the exploits of the megachurch pastors posts can spike for a period of time. If you would like on or off of this list please FReepmail me.

We disagree.
However, prayers for healing is not the primary method by which God Almighty works today; it is by Grace and not signs and wonders and miracles of healings... those were for ISRAEL. Although I know that some types of healings are possible but this does not mean that God heals everybody that asks for it - for what is our purpose today: we are declared SONS of GOD and we are appointed to SUFFER for Christ's SAKE to become MATURE SONS, as I currently am a such a SON of my FATHER GOD - like Father like son.
Romans 8:17: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Romans 8:18: For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
We are fighting against SATANS' powers and principalities in the heavenly places, which one day, we SONS of GOD shall replenish those evil devils
Romans 8:38: For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come
Ephesians 3:10: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God
Ephesians 6:12: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
The sooner people recognize that we are SONS of GOD and SUFFER for Christ's SAKE, and grow in GOD's plan and purpose for His SONS which we are by His declaration in Romans, then the better we all will be for the GLORY to be revealed in us as JOINT-HEIRS of Christ IN HIS GLORY. Not all believer-saints receive the JOINT-HEIRS of Christ; but all believer-saints receive the heir of GOD.
No problem.:)
We are at war and I pray that more people will understand that. satan has been unchained.
I remember listen to a CD from Vision Forum ministries that touched on the attack pastor’s children are under by Satan.
“Why Satan wants your firstborn and what to do about it”
How would you know his soul is lost? Apparently he was mentally ill from birth. Do you really believe that God damns souls because of an illness?
So drugs, sex and rock and roll didn’t help? Did Rick ever consider that Jesus might be the answer?
I can’t stand Rick Warren, but I am sorry to hear of this loss.
How do you know his soul is lost? Are you FReeping from heaven?
Jesus, is that YOU?!
warren’s son and suicide
I feel more inclined to pray for the kid. Poor soul.
Tell that to a diabetic who forgets to take his insulin.
Also, are you saying that his faith was just not strong enough?
It is my prayer that he will reach salvation, but suicide is a sin. You cannot repent after death.
There are other things that go beyond mental illness. Was he possessed or just in a depression. As far as I know, suicide is still a sin. You are throwing away the life God gave you.
How very Christuan of you.

Nor has it ever been how healing was done.
Healing has always been an issue of sanctification.
We must confess, and repent, and remove the desire to sin. Miracles are as common today as ever, and they are always the result of sanctification.
Pray to be shown what is blocking your healing, and then remove it, and repent.
If you are praying for the healing of another, pray that they be shown what is needed, and that they confess and repent, as that is the only effective process.
Are you “purpose driven?”
Are you aware of Warren’s departure from God’s word?
Suicide is not for God’s elect. Suicide is very purpose driven.
>> “Also, are you saying that his faith was just not strong enough?” <<
.
Very cliche, but not scriptural.
Sanctification is the only thing that brings healing.
Type 1 diabetes is a self rejection disorder that requires confession, and repentance of that self hatred. Insulin is a bandaid that will never bring healing.

You are deluded and dangerous.
That is your interpretation of the Bible, yes? That's fine; I have my own questions about the fate of someone who kills himself. But what about the verses that address people who are judgmental? Wouldn't that be just as big of a sin? How do YOU know where someone's soul went unless you are there?
And isn't it a little crass to say it out loud? That someone's CHILD is burning in the pits of hell, right now, as we sit here and type? Seriously?!
At the very least.
