We thank You that You are a God of second chances. Forgive us our ungrateful spirit for all Your blessings. We confess that we have turned from You. And in these ominous days, may we wake up and discern the signs of the times.
We lift up all those who go in harm’s way to protect us, like those first responders during September 11, 2001 and those afterwards, who kept terrorists from repeating their attacks on our shores. May we never forget their sacrifices and uphold all our wounded warriors.
May Your Spirit fill us and empower us to do Your will as the time of our salvation draw near.
