God bless you, sir, and Merry Christmas. My father’s blackouts stopped when he got his pacemaker, but then his Alzheimer’s progressed so that he couldn’t drive, even his golf cart.
I hope you have cheerful and diligent drivers to help you!

Prayers up for you!
Quick story just to add to your knowledge...
My Mom suffered blackouts for a while, sometimes sensing them coming on and pulling off to the side of the road. Thanks goodness, no accidents.
They ran blood tests, CAT scans, neurological tests, etc, and found no cause.
Finally, a doctor did a chest scan and they discovered a faulty aortic valve that sometimes failed to deliver enough blood to her brain. She was passing out from oxygen starvation.
She underwent a heart procedure and lived another 20 years without another blackout.
Info for you, FRiend... good luck!

Perhaps, once the medical experts find out what caused you to black out, they can give you a way to control/eliminate the problem.
Prayers that you will once again be able to drive safely and that your affliction is but minor.

Hi Conor, weather you drive or not is going to depend on several its for you to consider....What caused the blackout, if seizure the license may be revoked...you have to go 1 year with seizure activing be under a doctors care and on medication....is it possible you were very tired and just dozed off for a few seconds....I have felt that coming on a couple of times in my 73 years and opened all the car windows and even held my eyes open with the hands, it passed but I was careful driving home...Your doctor can give you tests to see if you had a seizure or not....you have to find out what was the cause, certain roads can give a person what they call,,,flicker fits...especially if there are posts that separate down the middle of the road...after that problem was determined, you'll notice all cement road dividers are solid and that eliminated the majoring of such accidents that are caused by that....You need to see a neurologist, be specific in telling what happened and let him take it from there. It is possible that this is a once in a lifetime situation. Get to the doctor and good luck.....GG

MY post should read you will have to go one year without seizure activity if a form of epilepsi is the problem, and not 1 year with seizure activity..

I’m praying for you, dear brother in Christ. God will guide you in the decisions you need to make and I thank Him that you were not injured and no one else was hurt. I pray that the doctors are able to diagnose what happened and that God heals you, if it is in His plan. Above all, I pray that you find peace and rest in the Lord as you gather together with your loving family, who also rejoice that you are safe, and that you have a very merry Christmas.

Prayers UP for you, Conor -- and thanks that the crash wasn't worse.
Any news on the *cause* of the blackout?
...oh, and I hope it doesn't seem *too* out of place, but Merry Christmas!

Prayers up for you and yours.
Something similar occurred to a friend. The physicians could only diagnose the spasm of a small blood vessel in her brain by injecting a medication. They informed her that the situation was statistically unlikely to recur. She hasn’t had an episode since.
