I have just received this sad communication from my sister-in-law about her sister, Sarah, who is suffering from breast cancer. She had been admitted to an acute care center in El Paso where she was to continue radiation and chemo, but has been returned to the hospital. (More in comments section.)

She’s beautiful floralamiss. We will have a whole bunch of souls praying for her and family today.
She is stunningly beautiful, floralamiss! Prayers for her and her family and friends. Very difficult time... may Our Lord comfort all involved. Hugs, Mom
Thank you. A prayer chain has been created in the Gila River valley. I am continuing to pray.

Good morning everyone,
Joe and Paula are still heading west through Texas on I-10 towards El Paso to be with Sarah. My sister-in-law, Paula, spoke with Sarah’s husband, Dennis, and this is the current report: “Sarah is still with us. The respirator was removed last night and Sarah quietly kept on breathing. Her condition has not changed and she is not in distress.” All thanks and praise to our Father in heaven.
The nurses are taking good care of Sarah, bathing her and combing her hair. The hospital staff have kindly given Dennis a place to shower and sleep. Since Sarah is still unresponsive, Dennis put her favorite cologne on his wrist and held it up to her face, so she could smell it and know he is with her.
Your prayers for Sarah and the family are deeply appreciated. This is not the safest time to be on the highway. Please pray for Paula and Joe and all the family who are traveling to get to Sarah in time... that the Lord and His angels will help them safely reach their destination.
Paula says she has lots to talk to her sister about and believes “she will be listening.”
Thank you, dear FRiends.

Prayers continuing my dear :-*

Thanks, poobear. :-)
Thank you, fatima. We are so grateful.
E.G.C., thank you for the bumps!
I am so glad to hear that Sarah is not suffering. I just wanted to let you know that even though she appears unconscious, she may still be able to hear. Even though she can’t answer back, she will hear the words. I pray the family has the courage and strength to tell her how much they love her. Everyone is still in my prayers.
She was, wasn’t she? And she remains so lovely. Thanks for your prayers, Mom, and the hugs! I have sent this thread of beautiful comments and prayer to Paula and the family, from which, I know, they will take great comfort.
Ever faithful FRiends and Carthego, thank you for your continued prayer! On behalf of the family, I send thanks to the Gila Valley Prayer Chain members who are taking their neighbor, Sarah, under their wing. God bless you!
Oh, they do, Mom. They are a great, big loving family. And thanks always for your prayers and the reminder about our sense of hearing going last. To float out on the journey with the words, “I love you” in your soul... what a blessing!
You’re welcome, RedMDer. Many, many thanks for your continual prayer.
Prayers and hug are so appreciated TEXOKIE. I have sent the link of this wonderful thread to the family. Thanks and God bless.
You are ever-faithful. Thank you, honey. :-*
