If Mitt Romney is elected president of the United States, his religion, a serious, cultic distortion of the Bible and history in the eyes of many evangelicals, will have new standing and credibility, and likely experience an acceleration of its already fast expansion.
Under Romney, some policies may languish in the swampy squish of centrism, one that embraces elements of Obamacare. If his leadership in Massachusetts is a sample, Romney may attempt to combine statist, modified Keynesian economics with Reaganesque supply-side policies, a mixture of oil and water. He is untested on national defense and foreign policy.
If President Obama is re-elected he will continue the overturning of a value-system often in direct contradiction with biblically aligned morality and ethics, including expansion of abortion, and official affirmation of same-sex marriage.
As we noted in the previous article in this series, the next Obama administration likely will have secularism as the underlying motif of policy, utilitarianism as the measure of the right to life, equivalency as the standard for universal values, internationalism as the context for foreign policy, statism as the means for the "general welfare," unfettered Keynesianism as the basis for economic policy, and anti-institutionalism as the attitude toward traditional values institutions.
Why would God give us either of these men?
The Bible leaves no doubt that God is in charge of nations as well as individuals. Among those passages is Proverbs 21:1, which says, "The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes." Daniel 2:21 is just as blunt when it declares, "He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings "
So why would God do it? Why would he raise up a president from a belief system that, to some, seems a parody and caricature of the Bible and history, or a president who officially endorses a moral code contradictory to Scripture?
There are a couple of reasons apparent in the Bible, and probably many more in the yet hidden mysteries of God. First, God will raise up national leaders in the best interests of His Kingdom and its advance in the world. Jesus reveals in Matthew 24:14 that the expansion of His Kingdom of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17) is the whole point of history. God knows what will make nations fertile for the seeding of His Kingdom, and the kinds of leaders necessary to bring about those conditions.
Second, the accumulation of judgment for the sins of a nation will determine the type of leader God will raise up. There is a point of "fullness" of sins (Genesis 15:16) where the perfect mercy of God must give way to the perfect justice of God. This occurs when a nation rejects God despite His pleadings and prophetic warnings. That judgment may be in the form of a national leader who guides the country into disaster, leading to people waking up and turning back to the Lord and His gracious ways.
In the short term, supporters of the loser will be disappointed and anxious about the immediate future. Obama's extreme partisans fear a nation where freedoms are severely limited, and conservative values imposed on everyone if Romney wins. Romney's most fervent voters fear that if Obama is elected, it is the end of America.
However, everyone must pull way back, and get the largest of perspectives. If God is in charge, and the whole tangled business of elections and governing is leading ultimately to the "blessed hope" (Titus 2:13), then there can be rejoicing even in the midst of what will be defeat for one of those candidates and their voters.
What????
That "employee", "Catholic man", was actually a powerful, wealthy fellow Mormon leader and executive.
Mormon Bishop, Robert Gay, the Bain executive is at the top among Mormon leaders, On March 31, 2012, he became a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy.
Here is a thought... you pray for me... because I am praying for you.
We will all stand before GOD one day... I know this... and we all will have to stand for our own lives and decisions. We will be judged... every single one of us. Mitt will be judged.
I will not embrace his belief system and I will not promote it nor would I ever turn from CHRIST. There is only ONE CHRIST... and the way to the FATHER is through HIM alone. I belong to CHRIST... I am HIS to do with as HE pleases. I pray that when HE comes... if HE will have me... that HE will allow me to serve as HIS sword.

You let me worry about my soul friend. It is not like I do not already think about it every waking minute. I am NOT telling you what you should do and I am not accepting Mormonism as Christianity or promoting it in any way. You continue to fight Mormonism if you think that it is a more imminent threat to your existence today... I will fight the evil that I live with every day... his name is satan and his face belongs to obama and those of the left.
I have said all that I have to say on the subject. I will not stand in your way... continue with your mission. I am not a threat to it or you.

“Since 2002, in the early years of Romneys entrance into public life, three of his campaigns one gubernatorial and two presidential have floated the story to demonstrate his crisis management skills and, more importantly, his human side. But each time the basic facts have become more blurred.
During his 2002 gubernatorial bid, for example, a Boston Globe profile of Romney described Melissa as near death, found in Montauk, N.Y., where she was shivering through detox after a massive dose of ecstasy. Robert Gay had been told by doctors, according to the story, that his daughter might not have lived another day.
Other more recent news stories have even claimed that Melissa was kidnapped. She wasnt.
The source of these details is unclear, but the spirit of these tellings that Romneys know-how rescued a teen who was just hours away from death has gone uncorrected and unchallenged.”
This one time effort for a powerful, wealthy fellow Mormon leader and executive has never been done again by Mormon Bishop Romney, it was Mormon insider stuff by the elites, way over the top for a teen girl that went to a rave and stayed with her friends for a couple of days.
Mormon Bishop, Robert Gay, the Bain executive is at the top among Mormon leaders, On March 31, 2012, he became a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy.
But several acquaintances of the teen who knew her well at the time and have not spoken publicly before told The Daily a different story: one of a rebellious adolescent in a moment of high-spirited escapism who hid from her parents in relative safety in an upscale New Jersey town.
Kate Flynn, a childhood friend of Melissas, said Gay asked to come home on her own accord. She said the teenager paged the beeper of a hometown friend in Connecticut and asked for someone to come collect her.
I saw the ad and thats not what happened, Flynn told The Daily. Mitt Romney did help with the search. But from everything that Missy told us, shes the one who made the contact to call home.
And they credited the group of new friends she made during her disappearance, including a boyfriend, as the ones who ultimately encouraged Melissa Gay daughter of Romneys colleague at private equity firm Bain Capital to head home to her panicked family.
Did Mitt Romney save this girl? No, said Doug Becker, the then-boyfriend and now a 32-year-old pastor in the same town of Rockaway, N.J. But I do think what spurred her going home was the kind of coverage it was getting, and I think [Romney] was pretty responsible for that.
Another childhood friend, speaking anonymously, was more blunt. I think the ad is incredibly misleading. Dishonest is the word for it, the friend said. She wasnt saved, she ran away to go to a rave, and got lost and wound up in New Jersey. She paged a friend to come get her.

Ahead of a Thursday night campaign rally in North Carolina, Mitt Romney made an impromptu stop to meet with the Rev. Billy Graham and his son, Franklin, at the reverend's home outside Asheville. Romney didn't officially land the elder Graham's endorsement, but he came pretty close. The famed evangelist told Romney he would do whatever he could to "help" the GOP presidential candidate, according to a readout from the Romney campaign. The vow came at the end of a 30-minute meeting between Romney and the Grahams, who talked about issues including Afghanistan, religious freedom and the growth of the Graham ministry in places like China, Sudan and North Korea.
Photographers and a television crew were allowed in during the final minutes of the meeting, where Graham was overheard asking Romney, "What can I do for you?" "Prayer is the most helpful thing you can do for me," Romney replied. According to Mark DeMoss, a senior Romney adviser who was at the meeting, Graham then led a prayer for Romney after the cameras left the room. Graham also told the former Massachusetts governor, "I'll do all I can to help you. And you can quote me on that."

He trumps you. I am finished with this.

Since that is irrelevant to my post calling you on your description of the Mormon Bishop and Bain Executive Robert Gay as a ‘Catholic employee’ of Mitt’s, I guess that your only goal is to promote Romney in anyway that you can.
Romans chapter 1 makes it very clear that when a people reject God and move away from him he removes his common grace and “gives them over” to the depths of their own sin. That is clearly happening in America today. Just as it does to every civilization eventually.
