"Evil is evil," Pastor Leon Taylor said. "You understand what I'm saying, and bullying is bullying and that's what they have done." Don't know how long you been there Leon, but you sound more like one o'them carpetbaggin' yankee liberals than a Mt Zion Baptist preacher.
You probably deserved the smack that seasoned saint done ya.

Deacon Robert Shumpert, Ina Garrett and other members say they decided they did not like Taylor and wanted him out of the 30 member church. Pastor must have been preaching particular redemption.

Did he approve of the homos??? There is nothing in the article stating what caused this ruckus.

Sometimes I’d like to hit the pastor with a bible. But I’m Methodist. He’s got it coming.

That’s why we respect our priests and call them “Father.”
This wouldn’t ever happen in a Catholic Church. The Knights of Columbus would escort anyone out of the church who even tried to get close to the sanctuary.

I’ve had priests that I would’ve liked to thump over the head with the good book, including one in particular who stated during his sermon that he is a “die-hard democrat.”

This wouldnt ever happen in a Catholic Church. May that's part of the problem with what's going on in the Roman Catholic Church!

Selmer has become a dangerous place for preachers. That church isn’t much more than a mile from where Mary Winkler shot and killed her husband, the Church of Christ preacher at 4th Street Church of Christ.

Any pastor who is a big enough jerk to cause this type of reaction from his congregation shouldn’t be one.

Perhaps talking to him and educating him about the democratic party and how abortion is one of the planks of their platform.
But not acting in anger and hitting a priest or a minister with an object.
The anger is part of the Commandment — “Thou shalt not kill.”

If they hired him, they can fire him.
Take a vote and settle it. No need to resort to violence in church.

Couldn’t possibly. Nothing bad has ever happened in the Roman Catholic Church /s

Have you ever tried to educate a moonbat? Not worth the hair I'd lose. I wouldn't be suprised one iota if he was a pro-abortionist anyway.
I've long since moved on to a different parish, one that offers the Tridentine mass which I greatly prefer. The trid mass definitely attracts more conservatives.

This wouldnt ever happen in a Catholic Church. Of course not; hardly any Catholics take bibles to church. ;-)

But we have the readings in a missalette that would do similar if not more damage, because the jackets are made of cardboard covered with plastic.
