My wife’s friend Kim’s son was driving home after church, dinner, a movie and taking his girlfriend home this Sunday. Pauly apparently fell asleep at the wheel and struck a cluster of trees. It would have been his 22nd birthday today.
Thank you everyone for your prayers.
We are united in our grief and it seems there is so little consolation in this kind of loss but it is a stark reminder that each day is a precious gift.
Even in our sadness, we must choose to use this day today to spread His love.

Special prayers going up to the divine physician, who has filled the gospels with evidence of His kindness and compassion for the sick and suffering.
May He guide the hands of Mickey’s surgeons, that they may be successful in their efforts to bring Mickey to a complete recovery.

Oh my, this one is too much for me. My son died shortly before his 22 birthday. Dear Lord, hear my prayer for this Mom and Pauly’s family.

Praying for Pauly and Kim, his family and friends. This is every parent’s worst nightmare. May Kim find strength in the Lord to get her through the crushing pain.
Prayers for you, too, WVNan. It’s a loss none of us can really contemplate, or don’t want to. I am so sorry for your loss, however long ago it may have been. It is something that is always with you. Lord bless you and your son, Paul.
