can’t be done. To be Moslem means to consider being Arab as the greatest thing. Anything else is lower. That’s why Indonesians, Chechens, Pakis etc. try to dress like Arabs
The Arab Socialist Ba’ath (Revival) Party was founded by Michel Aflaq (Greek Orthodox Christian) and Salah al-Din al-Bitar (Sunni Muslim) as a Pan-Arabist alternative to Islam. Before he died, Aflaq became a Muslim, realizing that Islam is Arab nationalism.
I also heard that Aflaq converted to Islam, in any case he praised Islam all his life.
To me Baathism is not absolute friendly but it is much better alternative to islamism.
