This author lists...

* Mormon racist "scriptures" still carrying the weight of the Mormon racist gods...These weren't "TOSSED OUT" in 1978. Mormons still pay for them to be reprinted & translated & sent out across the world...bad-mouthing & slandering non-whites worldwide...

* + Official Mormon teachings in official Mormon publications...Mormonism has NEVER repudiated it's own official teachings. It merely said in 1978, "never mind what we said before," and tried to move on.

That's not repentance; and it's not repudiation.

Therefore, before this issue becomes even more the rage once the MSM & Dems fully weigh in on Mitt Romney, it's time to do a nation-wide sweep and encourage all to address their Mormon relatives, neighbors & co-workers with the questions below:

Source of quote that follows: Noted African-American theologian and author calls out Mitt Romney on the Book of Mormon's embedded doctrinal racism and demands that he openly, honestly and fully repudiate it...

From Obery M. Hendricks, Jr., Ph.D.--author, affiliated scholar at the Center for American Progress, trustee of the Public Religion Research Institute and Professor of Biblical Interpretation at New York Theological Seminary:

“What I do mean to say is: “—1) that Americans of goodwill owe it to ourselves not to turn a blind eye to the possible implications of the white supremacist legacy of candidate Romney’s religious tradition, no matter how noble our intentions; and “—2) that Mitt Romney himself owes it to America to address the issue.''

********

Therefore, let's not only single out Mitt Romney, but as Americans of goodwill we do indeed owe it to our nation to the possible implications of white supremacy of the Mormon religious tradition...we need to ask not only Mitt Romney to address these issues of unacknowledged racism and their part in supporting institutional racism, but also encourage our grassroots Mormon neighbors to address this.

We can ask our Mormon neighbors:

(1) Do you say that the statements cited in the Book of Mormon scriptures as cited by Dr. Hendricks -- found in 2 Nephi 5:21, 1 Nephi 12:23, Jacob 3:8 and Alma 3:6 -- are the very "revelation" of God?

(2) Do you testify to these verses that they are the "truth" applicable to all men?

(3) Also, do you likewise adhere to Lds Doctrine & Covenants 134 in its entirety? Is this "scriptural revelation" fully binding upon Mormons today?

Truthfully, nobody gives a zhit about racism anymore.
When blacks and Latinos REALLY want to talk about racism, let me know, until then, IDGAF.....
Besides if the media wants to make religion and race an issue this time around, let’s go for it!

Its really telling when a white guy breaks down and cries like an peeved girl just because the racist doctrines have been tweeked a bit and now black men can be almost equal to the white guys in a white supremist religion.....

But Willard Mitt Romney did..

after 31 years of living a life of bigotry and hatred towards blacks...

Now THAT was a really neat 'discovery'!

I would have merely discovered a SEA!
