Urgent Prayer Request for Our Dear FRiend, Yorkie. [Yorkie update at #877]

While in route to California on Tuesday Yorkie, Tiapam and Cardhu were in a horrible one car accident near Kingman, AZ.
Yorkie was airlifted to Las Vegas while two FReepers were called home. Cardhu and Tiapam died at the scene.

Tiapam has been a Freeper since December, 2009; Cardhu has been a Freeper since July, 2005. Please remember them in your prayers.

I talked to Yorkie tonight; she is in ICU with serious non-lifethreating injuries.
She has many broken and crushed bones on her right side. She will need lots of therapy and lots of prayers.

Please say a prayer for Tiapam's and Cardhu's families and friends.
Yorkie is in urgent need of prayers for both physical and emotional healing. She and Tiapam have been friends for 27 years.

When I talked to Yorkie yesterday afternoon, most of our long distance time was spent crying. I think it did both of us a world of good.

I told her that this was the hardest thread that I had ever posted. She apologized for asking me to post it. I let her know that it was just the information that I hated posting.

She told me that both Tiapam and Cardhu died instantly. She told me that they were not pulling a trailer as stated in newspaper article. So I told her that they also added a decade to her age. She laughed about that.

Oh Dearest, sweetest you, ((((Amy)))), tears are streaming down my cheeks while I’m trying to type without making errors.

God bless you and Yorkie and the sweet, heavenly souls of Tiapam and Cardhu.

This accident was such a tragedy but we never know when God is going to bring us into His arms and I’ve been praying mightily that no guiltly feelings will fall upon anyone, especially our cherished Yorkie, whom God didn’t take into His loving arms with Tiapam and Cardhu. Gosh, we’re going to forever miss them.

I’m praying for you, too, Amy and for everyone at Amy’s Place, because you all were so close to the three wonderful ladies and I know you’re all broken hearted.

*Smiling* at the 10 year added age you two were able to luagh about! As though any of us can welcome 10 added years..lol.

My wife Violet and I were also mystified by the age given Yorkie!

We just thought she was” very young” for her age, and of course while we were with her...we sure didn’t ask her.

Meeting her and Pam and our experience in Sedona has and always will be a high point in our lives!

We are praying she will turn to her faith, and her love of friends and family to heal from this horrible accident.

When I make a birthday list for Amy’s Place, most people do not give me the year of birth, but a few have. I have Cardhu’s birthdate and at one time she told me how many years older he was than she. :)

When we read the article, I told MrJust that her age was not correct after he said he had thought she was younger than that. LOL

So by the power of math...Cardhu’s age was 82 minus 69 yorkie’s age means she told you that she was 13 years younger than Cardhu...

I always thought they checked people’s birth dates on their driver’s license when there has been an accident. Do they or not? (Especially if you’re dead or sorta out of it)

I’ve been doctoring my back today and it may be a tiny bit better. Maybe a laptop would be better for my back, I don’t know.

I tried twice to call yorkie and couldn’t get her so I will wait until tomorrow. I have certainly prayed for her today. Its hard for me to get it off my mind. I cannot put myself in her place.

Watching Tebow now just starting....maybe it’ll take my mind away from worry for a while.

I talked to Yorkie earlier today She was remarkably strong in her demeanor..in that she believes she is here for a purpose..I told all the love she poured out is being poured back to her.

We talked about Pam and her kind generous heart..and I thanked her for bringing Pam into our lives and hearts. Pam, who lived with constant pain with her back..is walking and running now in Heaven

.She talked about how Pam loved Caturday so I am going to go post a kitty

I told her I was doing pansy thank yous..so we could see “angels” on Sunday..She told me about “orbs” in the pictures taken by her daughter and son when they photographed the scene of the accident.

Praying for dear Yorkie’s successful rehab.
