Tiapam has been a Freeper since December, 2009; Cardhu has been a Freeper since July, 2005. Please remember them in your prayers.
I talked to Yorkie tonight; she is in ICU with serious non-lifethreating injuries.
She has many broken and crushed bones on her right side. She will need lots of therapy and lots of prayers.
Please say a prayer for Tiapam's and Cardhu's families and friends.
Yorkie is in urgent need of prayers for both physical and emotional healing. She and Tiapam have been friends for 27 years.
May the Lord Bless you, dear Amy,as you are His servant during this time of Godly Sorrow and Healing.ManyHugs(((Hugs)))
Sweetest you, dear jaycee, thank you from my heart, for relating your conversation with Yorkie. God bless her.
Mercifully, both Tiapam and Cardhu passed into the arms of our Lord and Savior instantly. May their grieving loved ones take some comfort in that.
I will pray the Rosary for her complete and quick healing and for the sweet souls of Tiapam and Cardhu.
Praise God.
We believe in the power of prayer.
We can’t ever prayer enough or too much.
Thank you, dear Diver Dave.
Prayers for you and for everyone here.
Dearest friend,
Your ordeal the past few days has given many of your friends here pause and time for reflection.
Your question was valid.. why am I still here? why did I survive?
I am not sure "exactly" but I am sure the general reason is that your work was not done and there is something very special that will be revealed that is your perhaps crowning glory in both a heavenly and earthly sense as you take your next set of steps in the journey of life
Paul had his thorn in the flesh (some think it was his eye issues); I know for me I have had a lot of "distractions" in life that were fun, took up lots of time, but bottom line, they no doubt also consumed so much time, energy and focus that I was completely oblivious to what maybe God wanted me to explore.
My physical situation now is such I can no longer do all the day long excursions on my bike, kayak, skis or hiking in the forest. That time is now available for "something else"
The care-giving of my mom ended with her death. The 24/7 responsibility of time, though be it in love, now gone, there is also more time to reflect and take on the next phase of my life.
Once you heal physically and begin to sort out the multitude of emotional issues, I pray that God will be slowing nudging you, revealing to your soul, what this next special step will be in your life. It is there for you, just as it is for me == and I am still exploring the several things I believe are my tasks.
will we be willing to take on the challenge? that is my prayer for you right now Karen. Yes, I want your body to heal... yes, I want you to come to peace with the loss of your two best friends... but my biggest prayer for you now is to gel all of that together in preparation to Mission Yorkie!
Much love to you across the miles. I feel so badly my trip to Ok/Texas could not include a stop with you, if even briefly. I am caught up in the financial constraints & gas money home even had to be given to me by my brother!
this too I KNOW is a blessing. Otherwise I would be on the road 24/7. Being tourist & explorer, visiting, playing! PTL for you -- most special and precious lady. God bless and we are all looking forward to the time when you can post a quick "hello" here!
Love, dolly
Prayers to all.
RIP Cardhu and Tiapam.
RIP Tongue-Tied.
That's hilarious and sooo true! It's been hard to get on FR since I found my pings to this prayer thread yesterday.
Well, that beautiful poem from the heart just brought the tears to my eyes yet again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent in such a personal and loving way.

OH Yorkie! please get well soon!
Dear Friends, I am so down in my back and hip today that Im going to try doctoring it and may feel better later.
I sat at the computer too long because I felt so helpless to do something for our friends who were killed and our one survivor, dear Yorkie. It didnt matter at all because it gave me some emotional strength. I usually can get myself better with a little heat and rest.
I will check the thread off and on when I can. I appreciate all of you so much and dont you forget it....LOL!
Have a nice day and lets all keep praying for Yorkie. She needs us so much and I know we can all help her.
((((((Love and Hugs))))))
I didn’t want any of you to think I just walked away. I will be praying off and on today for yorkie and will try to speak to her later. I don’t want to bother her with too many phone calls.
I would like to send my deepest sympathies to the family’s of tongue-tied and roaddog727. May God hold these families close as they grieve for their loved ones.
J, have you ever used the inversion table? about 5 years ago my back pain was so bad .. I mean terrible. I was resolved NOT to do surgery. Several friends & relatives had used this & raved on results. I tried one out at Dick’s sporting goods & decided to get the one floor model that was on half price.
Was determined I could do something on my own and not have surgery which for most people my age was not helpful and in many cases worse than prior... (and I had/have serious problems, herniation, advanced arthritis, stenois).
I did the Inversion tables. Did the exercises I know about but am too lazy to do(stretches, rolls), went to chiropractor once a week & got a professional massage once a week. In a matter of weeks it was better.. I still have issues & wish I had the $$ to get to chiro & massage on a regular schedule. The combination of things increased the neruo flow, blood flow & glandular work that helped.
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH I am in tears!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh God Help Yorkie and Card.
I am grieving over Tiapam!!!!!!
Just got this message late..............
Just re-read and realized that we lost Card too! Sobbing!!!!
And Yorkie, please get well soon.
