Tiapam has been a Freeper since December, 2009; Cardhu has been a Freeper since July, 2005. Please remember them in your prayers.
I talked to Yorkie tonight; she is in ICU with serious non-lifethreating injuries.
She has many broken and crushed bones on her right side. She will need lots of therapy and lots of prayers.
Please say a prayer for Tiapam's and Cardhu's families and friends.
Yorkie is in urgent need of prayers for both physical and emotional healing. She and Tiapam have been friends for 27 years.
thanks for those who shared what they know. and randy, you sent flowers.. how sweet is that!
I know we are all still in shock...
Amen.

First, thank you for sharing this news with me (I’ve copied people I received pings from to this post). There is too much death hovering around as of late - here through FR, and through my family and friends offline the last couple months especially. It’s a very sad and somewhat unsettling feeling. I am honestly in shock with the pure numbers of those around us who are being called home from our FReeper community.
I join all of you in prayers for all of those who have departed and for their loved ones, family, and friends who are still with us, but suffering in their own ways with these tragic losses.
I pray especially for Yorkie who is undoubtedly in so much pain - physically and emotionally. Words can’t express the empathy I have for what you are going through, Yorkie - I pray for your healing from the physical trauma as well as the pure emotional and psychologic trauma you are going through as well right now. May God bring you peace and comfort especially when you are needing it the most.
God bless and take care FRiends.
Sincerely,
LR
Thanks, teen, for the update.
Prayers continue for yorkie and her recovery, both physically and emotionally.
We love you, yorkie!! ((HUGS))
I wanted to thank you for posting the update. It truly is good to hear that she has had support and that all things considered she is doing as well as can be expected. I was glad to hear they were able to get her up and moving around today, too - that’s a very good thing. My thoughts and prayers continue for her healing and comfort in her grief and pain.
Would you be so kind as to give us an address when she gets to the rehab facility? I don’t know if I’ll be able, but I would love to send her at least a card or something, I just can’t imagine her suffering... Thanks jaycee.
Sincerely,
LR
Thank You for the update!
Indeed it was LUV, indeed it was!
Flowers are my way to say someone is special!
Yorkie and tiapam treated my wife and me like super special friends. We laughed and giggled for hours until we had to part.
Two funny and finer ladies I have yet to meet.
I always promised to go back but couldn’t, now this...
And to all the flowers in God's crannied wall; the ones who have been plucked, and the ones who have it coming ...
The PT rehab will be at the Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas. I think it will just be in a different wing.
Someone posted the address earlier.
God gives us the gift of prayer, and it is a gift of unparalleled magnitude to be able to cry out to Creator of the Universe knowing that HE careth for us.
May HE wipe away tears, provide peace, provide healing, provide comfort. May those effected rest in HIS strong arms that bares us up through all trials and tribulations. May our eyes be focused on HIM who provides joy and light through the storms of darkness and despair. Look to our Rock. HE alone can calm the raging winds in sea, by the simple words, "Peace, be Still..."
Isaiah 66:12b For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river...
Yes, praise God for that!
I am glad you were able to talk to her for awhile and convey to her our love and concern. Yes, I think she is a strong lady. I know she has strong faith and I pray that will sustain her through the days of healing ahead. I believe there is a reason why God chose this road for her and I hope that someday it will be revealed to her why she was chosen to stay and her friends were called home. :-)
Very sad news about this accident. Please keep us posted about Yorkie and prayers up for her recovery.
I will pray for all of them. What a sad story. I am so sorry for the deceased families and hope yorkie will soon recover. God bless them all.
Oh jaycee, thank you. Continued prayers and candles lit at my house. I will say a rosary for yorkie, tiapam, and Cardhu.
