Tiapam has been a Freeper since December, 2009; Cardhu has been a Freeper since July, 2005. Please remember them in your prayers.
I talked to Yorkie tonight; she is in ICU with serious non-lifethreating injuries.
She has many broken and crushed bones on her right side. She will need lots of therapy and lots of prayers.
Please say a prayer for Tiapam's and Cardhu's families and friends.
Yorkie is in urgent need of prayers for both physical and emotional healing. She and Tiapam have been friends for 27 years.
The whole thing is just so sad...
Lovely post...and amen to what you said!
Oh oldteen, thank you for the update. I will forever appreciate the fun times we all had at Amy’s thread in October. Such a fun and neat person, Tiapam, I’m blessed by the time we spent “chatting” and exchanging pictures online. And yorkie has always been so special to me. Continued prayers and hugs heading to Las Vegas and beyond.
I understand. This way it was unfiltered and the real deal and I’m so glad that you could talk to her. I’m sure it pleased her a lot, too, to know how many people love her and are praying for her to have a complete recovery.
You are very welcome. Its only a little I can do but I know that in the near future Yorkie will see all these prayers and she will be overwhelmed. The only address I have is the one someone posted earlier which is:
Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center
3186 S. Maryland Pwy
Las Vegas, NV 89109
I had the room number but since they’re moving her, it will be different. I think its the same hospital but a different section. I’m sure they will see she gets her mail and/or flowers. If I find out anything new, I will post it for you and everyone.
(((((God Bless you)))))
Oh I’m so happy to hear that you spoke with her, teenie. I believe she is getting the message of how many are pulling for her and praying for her. I told her hundreds and hundreds were praying and she was overwhelmed. She doesn’t leave my mind for a second.
You’re so welcome, Dave. God doesn’t care if we always close our eyes to talk to HIM. I sometimes talk to Him when I’m at my kitchen sink cleaning the dishes. Like you said, He wants us to talk to Him at all times. May God continue to bless you with your treatments, Dave.
Praying for this dear freeper.
Yes, thats correct, Lori. I would love to see them some day. Wouldn’t you?
Thanks STARWISE for the ping and the additional alerts.
I think she will be astounded when she realizes how much she is loved and how many prayers are being said. It will be a great day when she can read this prayer thread.
I spoke with yorkie about an hour ago. I could hear the pain she is experiencing in her voice but she has a positive attitude that something good is going to happen because of this tragedy.
Speculation on my part but a miracle of bringing everyone together in prayer for yorkie and those prayers will continue on a daily basis. Also, by her witness of her faith in Jesus Christ, people will come and kneel before the King of Kings and accept Him as their Personal Lord and Savior.
Prayers will continue multiple times a day, just as she has been praying for me with my fight with cancer.
May Our Lord Jesus Christ be Praised!
Thank You for the update. I have been praying all day, except for the few hours that I was teaching. My heart is overwhelmed.
Meant to ping you to my last post
thank you for posting the update.
Yorkie remains in my prayers (and Cardhu and Tiapam’s families).
Thank you, NNB. The poem ties it all together...so lovely and to think you wrote this today. I appreciate you sharing your gift of poetry to all of us.
Thanks for the ping, Dave. I know all the phone calls are warming her heart and giving her the courage she needs to work to get well. She is a strong person and will survive, I believe.
Her heart is big and loving and I know that she means everything she says when she prays for others.
God bless you, Dave...and prayers also for your situation.
So sorry to hear this awful news! Prayers for Yorkie’s full recovery and for the friends and relatives of all involved. Awful!
That is so wonderful of you. Some day in the future, Yorkie will read all this and realize how much she is loved. Thank you, BQ!
