LORENZAGO DI CADORE, Italy For the second time in a week, Pope Benedict XVI has corrected what he says are erroneous interpretations of the Second Vatican Council, reasserting the primacy of the Roman Catholic Church and saying other Christian communities were either defective or not true churches.

So you are betting that straw arguments have a greater weight than logic? You should know that the Church fully supports its traditional teachings with the scriptural interpretations of the Fathers and Doctors.
Catholics do not worship Mary. They only worship God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Please don’t believe the nosense drivel that someone has told you.
Now the truth comes out. Wouldn’t you know that someone would post a falsehood?
John 5:46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. 47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?
Any doctrine that teaches that Moses was done away with, that Messiah came to start a new religion or that claims Messiah/YHVH gave the church the authority to change YHVH's everlasting divine doctrine is out right blasphemy.
Please dont believe the nosense drivel that someone has told you.
Correct
Romans 8:38: For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Romans 8:39: Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The ministry of reconciliation and justification is the heart of Paul's gospel, and this Ministry of Reconciliation is for us believer-saints and sons of God is a most priceless gift - and a much more noble responsibility than simply performing as an Old Testament priest or anyone who tries to copy this Jewish priesthood. This present glory - reconciliation and justification and ambassadorship - is much more glorious. We are no longer priests, but saints and Ambassadors, and this is far more glorious than the priesthood:
II Corinthians 3:9: For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. II Corinthians 3:10: For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. II Corinthians 3:11: For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.
ANY ONE who believes the above Bible truth will be guaranteed eternal salvation with the Lord Jesus Christ, and no man or earthly leader can separate us from the love of God who give us these things freely.
It’s only because the Pope and his group are a defective, fake church. They splintered off the true Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church.
Didn’t the the “the leader of catholicism” take bribes for dead relatives salvation, kill people for translating the Bible, jail people for suggesting the earth is not the center of the universe...hmmm, all this and a lot more, from an Infallible Pope.I guess these are just more examples of “traditions”. Tradition is what led man from Adam’s perfect walk with God to Sodom.Jesus Christ,God’s Word, is our only salvation not convoluted illogical dogma.

Sorry guys.the pope says we are out ...
Again, where does he say that?
Rome cannot separate us from the love of God,
Could you please show where in the documents to which this article refers "Rome" claims it can or does or wants to separate you from the love of God?
“The other communities “cannot be called ‘churches’ in the proper sense” because they do not have apostolic succession — the ability to trace their bishops back to Christ’s original apostles — and therefore their priestly ordinations are not valid, it said.”
I hate to break it to some folks, but my church doesn’t HAVE priests, other than the priesthood of the believer.
Why? Because there were no priests in the New Testament, other than Jewish priests, or Jesus Christ Himself. And there is no perpetual sacrifice going on, because:
11 Every [Jewish] priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins; 12 but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD, 13 waiting from that time onward UNTIL HIS ENEMIES BE MADE A FOOTSTOOL FOR HIS FEET. 14 For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. 15 And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying,
16 THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THEM
AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD:
I WILL PUT MY LAWS UPON THEIR HEART,
AND ON THEIR MIND I WILL WRITE THEM,
He then says,
17 AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS
I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE.
18 Now where there is forgiveness of these things, there is no longer any offering for sin. — Heb 10
Given the number of evil, godless men who have been Pope, it is kind of tough to believe that “apostolic succession’ means diddly squat to God.
“15 Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? 17 So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 So then, you will know them by their fruits.
21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles? 23 And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.” - Jesus Christ, Matt 7
The only way for this to be true is if the Pope has a big gift bag of human spirits, which he personally creates because that is the spiritual gift God has given him.
He also must have the ability to read the hearts of every person who claims to be a believer, so he is accountable for either giving or retaining the human spirit from a new believer in Christ.
He also has the ability to perform this immediately and not through any other intermediary as time is short between when an believer first comes to faith through Christ and when God the Holy Spirit then indwells the new believer.
So in this fashion the Pope now is able to perform the duties He claims are the solitary domain of the RCC denomination and not of any other person. This obviously implies, not even God the Holy Spirit would have this power because God doesn’t contradict Himself,...so either it is God the Holy Spirit or the Pope who has the ability to determine if a human is a sinner or saint, one already condemned to eternal condemnation or one who has salvation.
IMHO, and from that which Scripture provides, it isn;t any man who has that power, but only God Himself. If not the Pope, then the Pope has also sinned against God the Holy Spirit in his declaration.
Are you disputing the New Testament?
Try Matthew 16:18-19
Where did you ever come upon the wrong information there? Maybe a pamplet?
