Excerpts:
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Kings 13:18 The old prophet answered, "I too am a prophet, as you are. And an angel said to me by the word of the LORD: 'Bring him back with you to your house so that he may eat bread and drink water.'" (But he was lying to him.)
Jeremiah 23:16 This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.
Ezekiel 22:27 Her officials within her are like wolves tearing their prey; they shed blood and kill people to make unjust gain.
Daniel 11:34 When they fall, they will receive a little help, and many who are not sincere will join them.
Matthew 7:14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
Matthew 24:11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.
Matthew 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible.
Mark 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect--if that were possible.
Luke 6:26 Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for that is how their fathers treated the false prophets.
John 10:12 The hired hand is not the shepherd who owns the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it.
Acts 13:6 They traveled through the whole island until they came to Paphos. There they met a Jewish sorcerer and false prophet named Bar-Jesus,
Acts 20:29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock.
Romans 16:17 I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.
2 Timothy 3:5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.
2 Peter 2:1 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves.
1 John 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Revelation 16:13 Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
Revelation 19:20 But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
Revelation 20:10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

ok, i asked you before and will again:
where in the NT after Pentecost, does it say:
the Apostles kept the 7th day Sabbath?
the Church worshipped on the 7th day Sabbath?
New Gentile believers are instructed to keep the 7th day Sabbath?
“Joseph Smith, Brigham Young “
In that group you can add Islam’s Mad Mo and Ron Hubbard. They all started a religion with the idea of personal sexual gratification, greed, and other Earthly desires. False prophets? They were not prophets but con-men.
When the scriptures talk of false prophets I can’t seem to include these scam artists any more than I can a guy at a bar sweet talking a drunk woman to have sex with him.
As far as being dangerous, of course they are. They hurt or killed many people and still do so today.
When we look at Jews, Christians and other non-violent religions we see their focus on God and doing right to others. They don’t teach violence to others or about Earthly desires. They don’t teach pedophilia, rape, polygamy, murder, or violence to enforce obedience. They dont have secrets or require cash to get ahead in their church. They dont require members to recruit in order to gain favor with the church. They are inclusive, not exclusive. They accept all who accept their faith. Christians dont even require a church or a leader. One can be a Christian simply through acceptance of Jesus as their savior. No church, money, sex, or givings of any kind required.
Will doing this SAVE you?
SO many people IGNORE the letter sent in Acts 15.
Lorena; are you really that is was...?
The TEN COMMANDMENTS in the NT
First Commandment -Acts14-11-15, 1 Cor.8:4-6
Second Commandment 1Cor 10:14, 1John5:21
Third Commandment James5:12
Fourth Commandment Heb4:9, Acts16:13, Acts17:2
Fifth Commandment Eph6:2
Sixth Commandment Romans13:9
Seventh Commandment Romans13:9
Eighth Commandment Romans13:9
Ninth Commandment Romans13:9
Tenth Commandment Romans13:9
“It is our duty to follow the known will of God (Eccl. 12:13).
Will doing this SAVE you? “
No,silly. That is NOT the purpose of the law. The law cannot save, it can only condemn. It points out our imperfections. In Heaven, do you think there will be holy and perfect people there or unholy and imperfect people? The robes of righteousness will only be given to those who are WILLING to follow Gods will. God wants to see how willing we are to go towards following Him and His law.
you are correct, no mention of keeping the 7th day sabbath.
“ok, i asked you before and will again:”
Back at ya’ on this one. The burden of proof is on you to show me where God says we do not have to follow His law anymore. Jesus’ life is the life we are all to emulate. The closer you follow His footsteps, the closer to heaven you will be. He kept all 10 Commandments the way they were supposed to be kept. If you want to disregard His example because some church told you not to, then you love that church more than Jesus. IF you love Jesus, follow His Commandments. That’s what He said. That’s what He wants.
If I understand you correctly, then I have no idea of what the answer is.
Quit projecting onto others about what you do in your house.
4th commandment in the NT according to BB:
Hebrews 4:9 speaks of Jesus as our sabbath rest, it is not speaking of the 7th day sabbath.
Acts 16:13 is about Paul preaching on the sabbath day, it says nothing about keeping the 7th day sabbath.
Acts 17:2 again is about Paul preaching on the sabbath day. this was his custom since this is when the unbelieving Jews would gather.
NO NT VERSE CAN BE FOUND THAT TEACHES THE APOSTLES KEPT THE SABBATH, THE CHURCH KEPT THE SABBATH, NOR INSTRUCTING NEW GENTILE CONVERTS TO KEEP THE SABBATH.
IT IS NOT THERE!
Talk to yourself much?
Indeed there are.
Christians follow the commandments to love God and neighbor.
no mention of the 7th day Sabbath in the Apostolic Faith.
we don’t follow types and shadows anymore, Jesus has come!
Christians rest in Jesus and His Sacrificial death on the cross.
That's all you do on these boards.
Face it Fred, you'll never become a god.... Just let it go.
WHY would I want to be a god when I have you all to lead me around???
You’re all doing such a fine job.
